received one as a gift, have to say its a piece of shyte, firstly its not on google play you need download an APK my phone ironically it is a Chinese brand too, shows the APK full of viruses and spyware, then if you refuse to install the app, you are locked out, avoid, Huewai are a scummy company
Do thr notifications for whatsapp come through? One review said it doesn't always work, once you open the app you have messages that came through hours ago
Ive Been using the note 10 plus since 2017 . Just got the s24 ultra. It's heavier. And I'm feeling like it's not as well made. It's only been a day. I really loved my note 10 plus.
nice video with a lot of detail and enthusiasm! Just checking do you know, - if using the magic desktop mode, is it possible to connect the phone via cable to a simple monitor to create a 'desktop' by cable, for example using a usb c to hdmi converter?
Also it supports desktop mode like samsung Dex .. it turned you phone to a PC like … WOW … honor is the premium version of fold phones … i have ordered one .. it is in the way .. so excited
I tried both L4 and 4ANC during a few hours in a quiet environment (my apartment). It all depends on what type of music you’re listening. I like ‘boomer music’ 😂: jazz, folk, pop and classic rock. I chose the Liberty 4 which is immersive, more detailed with crisper highs, without the obtrusive bass of the 4ANC.
I would be interested in a video to see how the pen works, whether it supports inclinations and how it works on the crease in the middle between the two sides
For reason 4: You can disable screen awake from the sensor itself. forcing you to actually push the main button when you're ready, and it will wake the screen and then you may use the fingerprint sensor to unlock it. This two step process will kep you from having your phone unlocked and awake in your pocket. I had this problem on all motorola phones because the sensors are so sensitive.
Ofcourse a nice review. 2 points: THere are earbuds within the box. Not sure its location specific. And the display of the apps you shown in the cover screen (insta, whatsapp etc.) can be made full 4" screen by tapping the soft-button at the bottom of the cover screen. Is this correct ?
No earbuds unless bundled in with them. Yes you can go full screen with the soft key but I found this was not optimized as the camera lens gets in the way of the send button
@@marcelontech is the screen rotation option availble for outer-cover screen ? If yes then the issue you highlighted (whatsapp button hidden behind the cam) is gone. Pls confirm
I had one of those stainless flips, and he's right. The thumb/flip was the only way to open the phone effortlessly. I'd headed for a flip and I'm sure I'll miss that move.
Best hardware? Yes. Software on the other hand... just basic. They have a long way to get a great user interface. They should check with Oppo / OnePlus to get some ideas and top it up with Pixel UI. Also, good camera HW but SW is missing - not too great pictures... Obviously, they could have been much better than that. Best overall? No way!
You are right. The software could be improved for sure and matured. Also the camera hardware is solid but it has weaknesses in low light but my review will come
I have one, only downfall for me is streaming, I can not stream internal audio and mic at the sametime as screen sharing apparently its a routing issue on the android samsung claim wtf.
just to be clear, samsung ui is well built because they already use a massive tank of system storage with around 50 - 80 gigabyte!!! while my Honor V3 only taking up to 16gb of system storage and it's already well built!!!
I bought one and it's very good indeed. Unfortunately the main reason I bought it was for using as a back-up navigation device. I didn't see one review mention that it lacks a GPS receiver, so it doesn't work for navigation at all. Fortunately my wife has one that does work, so we can swap, would be rather annoyed otherwise. I thought GPS was a basic, standard function nowadays, all my previous tablets going back to a couple of Sony Z4's had it.
That's very interesting and not somethibg I have cone across before. I suppose most tablets are not used for navigation and would think if tethered to mobile device would work fine perhaps you are onto something
I'd love a video of all the tips and tricks on the software as I've purchased one, and I haven't even taken it out of the box as I've only ever used Samsung I'm currently using the z fold 6.
I am very sorry to say that is correct the US will be part of Honor sales direct however there is a fellow RU-vidr who can provide it but be aware that carriers in the US might limit the frequencies too. averagedadofficial.com/products/honor-magic-v3-global?variant=49355663049042
Great to hear a shout out to the Note 10+, still my second favorite phone, I used until I switched to the Fold 4, but my wife still uses it! I'm a Samsung sucker, I use the spen every for work (I'm an architect, so drawing and note taking all day long) and keep everything on Samsung Notes. I really wanted to switch my phone this year, but Fold 6 is very bland. I'd like to go for this, but I'm afraid the pen doesn't live up to the s-pen and the software let's me down compared to One UI. Can you make a video about the pen and the software, maybe comparing it to Samsung? Thanks!
Good man and thank you for the full answer. I am really impressed you use it as architect (my father was one too) and will do my best to create something useful for you.
Yes have seriously thought about it but it's very niche as it no longer working with full android but it is very interesting. About to test the GT 5 watch
Should i need upgrade now, using note 10 plus from last 5 years, I hav only 2 major issue with it Primary camera got blurred Battery backup is only 5.5hrs now I want to know your guys honest opinion it really appreciable if you help thanks to all in advance.
I have the Note 10+ 5G and it still works great but this Foldable is a revolution I believe and really really good! If you have the money I don't think you will regret it
I had it sold for pixel 9 pro fold, Google better for me, but the v3 was amazing, but I missed circle to search instead of the knuckle search function on v3. Multi tasking better on v3. Much prefer the Google ecosystem though.
@marcelontech I didn't dude unfortunately. I have everything Google in the house though, security cams, doorbell, pixel tablet, so made sense to go with the Google. I prefer that Ecosystem and simplicity. The honor was great though, loved the size, just didn't like the software as much. Each to their own.
Oh ok that's makes total sense. I just returned my Pixel 9 pro XL in favour of this device but for you it does make sense and the P9 pro is a great device too@@robhewitt5640
Watching this on my V3. I have used multiple devices, iOS, android, nothing phone but this is a whole new experience. Absolutely love it. Someone coming from iOS might get overwhelmed with all the settings you have to go through at the start to make it personalised but it's worth it.
I was watching this video and saw this comment as I also found the same problem on my V3. But I think I found the solution. I disabled the keyboard and screen edge protection in the settings and it seems ok now. I also get an annoying bug that is sometimes when I open the browser and am typing a text to search in the address bar the keyboard (gboard) closes.. specially when I use space or "."
