i'v done a bit of street bike drag racing its way harder than it looks is getting off the line the eighth speed is really good, it'l go into the 7's with that kind of speed and power it just finding the sweet spot, good luck with your next effort

The progress you've made is enormous and the 7 seconds are so close that it's obvious you're going to make it. In this configuration your superbusa has around 430 bhp?
Have you tried one more tooth on the engine sprocket rich? Might keep the back wheel from spinning just long enough to gain momentum forward before the change into 2nd ?
