hi!! i just want to thank you for having this lyric video up with all of my soul and heart. this lyric video was the one first one i ever watched for florence, and it was also the first song of hers i ever listened to (from this video), around the time you made this video 10-11 years ago. i was young, and i was absolutely obsessed with her sound after hearing this song for the first time. last year, for the first time ever, i got to see her live in concert, and it was this lyric video (and some of your other early florence ones, like no light no light) that basically gave me my biggest, strongest music special interest i've ever had (i'm autistic). i don't know if you still use youtube at all but thank you so much for keeping this lyric video and others up, because my childhood and who i am today would not be the same without them <3
My friend and I are working on a novel series set in 1920s France about four sisters, the daughters of an alchemist who were created by their father's arts and raised on his airship that's disguised as a cloud. The first time I heard this song, I stumbled across it randomly. Needless to say, the moment I heard the first line, I had to pause it and go look up the lyrics to make sure I'd heard them right. This could be the theme song for the books if they're adapted into a mini-series.
