I am updating my PC and need to switch over all of my FSX2020 software and my 10 Golf courses from my Laptop to my full PC - Can you guide me what I need to do first
Just push it in more, you have to push it hard. Mine works fine. I was also able to pair it with not too much fuss. At first, it would not pair to apple home but then I factory reset it and it paired with no issues. As for the control box, I just put it in the cable management tray.
@@shockafter7 Basically you can control the lights, how bright, what colour and more through the Nanoleaf app but for some weird reason when I tried to pair the lights to the Nanoleaf app it would force me to do it via Apple Home. I had never used Apple Home prior to these lights so I had to make an account quickly. It would not pair so I factory reset the lights and it paired. Now I can control the lights, what colour they go, you can add effects other people have made or make some yourself. There are other stuff on the app as well you can check out. I think it's worth pairing if you want to use the lights properly.
I just got mine a few days ago and it was doing the exact same thing. I asked my dad if he could try, he pushed it in with force… viola!!! It worked. Try to push it harder. I have zero issues with mine since it snapped.
I can't believe they didn't UPGRADE that cord after years of complaints. Mind boggling. I purchased it during July 2024 and there hasn't been ANY upgrade to mine from comparing it to your video up above. Insane.
Just bought it last week, June 1/2024 and gladly there is no this issue with connecting strap to control. So it might be earlyier manufacturer issue or something.
How on earth it passed their quality check is beyond me. Even if the physical connector were fine, if it has bluetooth connectivity issues, it's still a garbage product. I'd like to have the lights sync with the animation on my monitor.
It is absolutely faulty, it has nothing to do with pushing it. Very hard for you to make a comment on something you never touched. The second replacement cable sent from Secretlabs worked perfectly. The first cable did not, it was NFG right out of the box. Secretlabs has a bulletin out now with this issue and topic discussed.
I just got it today and I thought it was faulty I thought I was going to damage the cable pressing so hard I used a thin piece of metal to push it in and now it doesn't fall out anymore
Love the setup but 1 huge question. Why do you get new clubs every year??? Literally no need what so ever to even get new irons every 5-10 years. Once you find a shaft and head you don't need anything else unless your swing changes drastically. If pros never hd sponsors they would be using same setup for years cause they know what the club does.
I'm not sure what your question is. Assuming you watched the video, my screen is 12" off the wall (11:28) You mention yours is 20", so the answer would be yes its fine.
I made a big complain to the SecretLab team and they sent me a new cable and this one actually clicked and worked just fine. Took a few weeks but I'm not complaining now.
So what is your final conclusion if both machines show dramatically different results in direction on the driver? Which one are you saying is correct because both can't be correct.
1) This connection scheme is the same on the Nanoleaf Matter Essentials light strips. I was aware of this “issue” with my first set when I bought a second set. 2) While there is this manual controller, the Nanoleaf app is the primary use point for controlling the light per the Nanoleaf features. I use my lights with Apple HomeKit, but to get the full features, I must use the Nanoleaf App (HomeKit does not allow setting both custom light scene AND brightness level). 3) You have 3M strips on the bottom of the physical controller. If you peel off the 3M label, you will find that these are adhesive strips. Engineers have thoughtfully placed these so that you can potentially stick the device and leave it (and the cable to light strip) permanently in place. This should help to resolve your primary complaint. 4) Other commenters have noted - and I too have found this with my aforementioned Nanoleaf Matter Essentials strips - to push the light strip connector into the controller/power unit as far as possible. The weak connection, plus not fixing your controller in place is the root cause to your poor experience. Yes, Nanoleaf could improve on the design. Product Engineering requires quite a few design iterations and feedback from the users in order to make better products in the future. Unfortunately, the consumer does not get to see the results for free.
That looks like a pin connector like those found within PCs, not doubting you, but you really have to push those in the ports till you get a click. But yeah tbh, paying $80+ for an RGB strip I can find something similar via third party for like $30, maybe less, is kind of stupid. I don't need any fancy app, or have Google turn on the light for me. Might wait for a sale though, cause a third party strip is likely going to be a pain to straighten out properly and stay in place afterwards. If I get one at all, thought it would just be cool to turn it white and maybe get rid of my desk lamp depending on how bright it is. Edit: I actually got one, the connection is garbage, had to super glue it, don't pay full price.
I've actually NOT had an issue with the connector, though I did think when installing it was a weak design. HOWEVER even though the connector is pretty poor as you say. The "Smart" functionality is complete and utter garbage, the Bluetooth pairing constantly drops and won't re-pair without a hardware reset of the RGB strip. The "Thread" connection to Google etc is even worse. Loses connection, blocks Bluetooth connection when Thread is used and provides VERY BASIC control of the RGB (pretty much ON and OFF). Without a doubt this is the worst tech gadget I've purchased in years and a stain on Secret Lab's reputation.
Everything what you said in this video is true. I have also the same problem. The connection from the kabel is bad and the connection to the app also don’t work. So in the end I can say I don’t recommended this 💩.
Great video, can I ask what wires you need from your computer to have split screen? Do you just use 1 wire and split the signal or do you use multiple output points on computer?
