Thankyou mate! Most of the props were done using bits of drain pipe, wood, hinges, polystyrene heads... ! Nothing expensive or impressive haha! That would be nice to see Oscar. I'm no longer working at the park these days but I hope that the dinos can make another return. It was fun reprogramming them and getting them to move again - and the figures are still in very good condition. I would have loved it if we could have found somewhere permanent for them to go - at one stage we'd developed a new walkthrough show for them but this didn't happen which was a shame. Hopefully one day!

I started out with a few bits and pieces and grew it into something a bit bigger and crazier each year! You could totally do the same. Hi mate - well all the figures were made by me (and you can probably tell haha!) out of PVC pipe and then fabrics/heads/masks/hands over the top. So nothing 'complete' was bought in, I just made myself, much cheaper! You're right, some of the props that you can buy online are silly money, and to me some of them would only cost about £100-£200 max to make! Cracking video man. I almost died after laughing so much. I currently own a Martin Rush Scanner 1 LED and a Rush MH6 Wash CT. I have 8 LED pars, 2 chasers, 1 moving spot, 2 wash movers, 1 moonflower.
Haha thanks mate - glad you enjoyed it. Ooh i've always been a fan of wash moving heads, those martin rush one's are very nice. The MACs that were in this video and the other one (the 600) are sadly long gone as they weighed a ton and were a bugger to move around! But I did love using them, great lights, iconic of their time.
I have a bit of a story on how I got both Martin lights. I went to a showcase that Martin were doing back in February 2019. We managed to get in contact with a few of the guys there and they said that they would hook me up with some merch and potentially a few lights. The merch arrived in May but the lights didn't arrive. My father got in touch with Martin saying that my birthday was coming up soon and asked if there was anything they could give me. On the 10th of October (my birthday) a package arrived at our house. I got back from school and found this massive package from Martin with both a Rush MH6 wash CT and a Rush Scanner 1 LED.

Hi Reuben - wow yes that is ancient that site, I keep meaning to get rid of it because as you say it is terribly out of date and very tatty these days! I have been meaning to re-do it for years now, I think 2012 was when I last came up with new templates!! One day I will try and improve it. Also - have you joined the Blackgang Chine Memories Facebook group? That's worth doing, lots of good stuff from super fans of the park on there! James
Haha yes that would have been a good idea! Interesting fact: a few months after this was filmed my sister managed to fall off a chair and landed on top of the whole thing, which completely trashed it! So it had a relatively short life!! But thanks for watching! James
