Hello, in this channel you will find several Backing Tracks that will help you in your studies, as well as other content that may be interesting to you.
I understand your point, but Rush has a significant impact on progressive rock due to their technical innovation, lasting influence on subsequent bands, consistent career, and broad popularity. Albums like "2112" and "Moving Pictures" helped define the genre and expand its reach. Thanks for the comment!
Very nice video, however, I believe we can't place artists on a scale. It's not athletics you know, where the factual measure of time and speed sets the places on a podium. But yeah, I really appreciated this presentation of progressive rock as a genre, as an artistic movement, because it really is. Thanks man 👌🏽✨
Thanks a lot for the comment! I agree, you can't measure art like a competition. But it's always interesting to see how everyone interprets and feels music differently. Thanks for commenting!
Great names! They all have a huge contribution to blues and rock. With a limited list, we couldn’t include everyone, but your suggestions are definitely valuable. Thanks for commenting!
Me fascina como toca este grupo; los vi por primera vez tocando las hojas muertas con un turista coreano. Fue sensacional. Saludos desde León Gto; México.
I get your point! Kansas has a big influence on progressive rock and deserves recognition. Lists can really vary based on personal taste. What are your favorite songs or albums from the band? Thanks for commenting!
I understand the frustration! Gary Moore really left a huge legacy in the blues with his incredible talent. The list is limited, but he is certainly one of the greats, so he will be highlighted in our next video. Thanks for commenting!
You're absolutely right! "Influential" and "best" are different concepts. The list focuses on the influence the bands had on others, their overall impact on the genre, and their ability to bring people into the progressive rock universe, not necessarily on the musical quality. Which band do you think had the most influence on progressive rock? Thanks for commenting!
Tony Hadley (spandel ballet) UK. Jimmy Somerville UK, Luther vandross US, Andy bell (erasure) UK , Marc almond UK, Boy George UK, so many more and mostly from the UK.
We're preparing a new list (without ranking) about blues guitarists from the British Isles, how about sending us some names that you think can't be left out?
