I don't like "greatest" lists. Everyone mentioned here is great in their own way, and you definitely left off some that I would have included. Having said that, when I heard "Roaree's'" name, I knew that whoever compiled this list was a serious aficionado of blues guitarists. That means it was extremely difficult to cut the list down from, say 100, to just thirty. You did a commendable job. Thanks for this video.

I understand, "greatest" lists always spark debates! Everyone has their favorites and leaving out some great names is inevitable. It was really tough to narrow it down to just 30, but I'm glad you recognize the seriousness in the selection of guitarists. Thanks for the comment and for watching the video!

@@BackingTrackCenter Funny story.. I was at Legends one night and Buddy was supposed to get up and play but Luther showed up, played a set and smoked the place… When people looked for Buddy someone said.. “Buddy slipped out the back, he’s not going on after Luther” 😂🤣😂 anyway… thanks for the list… it’s a tough one but at least you got Otis and Luther in there… Oh and because he was such an eclectic guitar player, most people don’t realize that Jeff Beck could bury Ford, Moore and Clapton when it comes to playing the blues… Peter Green… Peter had a tone and touch that was rare. But Beck could play any style, any speed, better than anyone… Every guitar players guitar god was Beck…
