Hi Colleen! 👋 - Walking isn’t my gig but I wholeheartedly support those who do it. I’m into a 30 minute cardio with weights. The important this to get moving daily and be consistent with your eating. I’m celebrating today reaching a weight goal I set 2 years ago!? After 9 months of keto and IF I weigh 185 lbs 😅 , 50 lbs more to lose to reach my healthy goal weight of 135 lbs and BMI of 24. I lost 20 pounds in 7 weeks. I stopped after that and have been struggling ever since. I managed to do my first 40hr fast day yesterday for the first time in months. Soooo greatful and hoping for better days

Searched for new videos from you last night got up and walked/ran for an hour this morning. I want to get back to ADF again. Will join the FB Group again. Past year has been rough with multiple death, in house emergencies so now is the time for me. Blessings
Find your tribe of others trying to get better. There will always be many that have a negative opinion about YOUR journey. Everyone is different. So find your people.
These tips are facts. Black coffee with a little Stevia gives me a nice shot of energy when I'm fasting but I've found that green tea does the opposite. I actually get dizzy and feel faint if I drink it while fasting. I suspect it lowers my blood sugars to dangerously low levels.
I did Adf for 9 months and could go 72 hours with no issues except I started shedding hair by multiple strands with washes. I am 5'8" weighed 170. I am athletic build and I did ADF to drop size back to 8/10. Yes I was thin. I do not do ADF now and have moved to 16:8 intermittent. I am now 175-180, size 10/12 at 75 years young. I am now doing protein load with morning meal salads or protein drink, exercising, walking, arm strength exercises, stair master, core/ab, but I do 60 minutes total 5 days a week. My question since you have graduated, how much protein do you take? I totally agree with you ADF works, positive thoughts, journal writing. I will sometimes do ADF if I am feeling stressed. Your channel helped this grandmother who can still turn a man's eye, of course my husband was supportive and he will do one meal a day.
I work from home and binge 'listen' to video's on YT, and on ADF all day since I'm in this... I made a comment 4 months ago and was 230lbs, however, I didn't really succeed then. I really got into it end of April first of May and have lost 35lbs this July and counting! So happy I ran across your channel! EDIT: I was watching another lady on YT (won't say her name) but she was talking about losing 20-40 lbs in a month, I was like wtf, I'm no genius but that's not healthy at all!!! I love it OVER HERE!

Just getting back to ADF and you are spot on about committing to it and locking it in. I needed to be reminded of this today. My challenge is that fat feels safe. When I lost weight in the past I wasn’t prepared for how differently I’d be treated - people saw me and men noticed me - this was scary because I’m used to not being seen and that feels safe to me. How have you adjusted to the attention? To being “seen” - especially by men? My friend, who is also over weight and I were talking about how fat feels safe to us and yet we feel miserable and not healthy. So much is mindset. Would love if you’d do a video about your journey to being seen and getting attention from others. It’s like living invisible and then suddenly that’s dropped and people “see” you. I think this is why I’ve yo-yo dieted. 🙏🏻💞
Do you do dry fasting or wet fasting? Based on your explanation it seems like you wanted to do wet fasting but you ended up doing dry fasting and that now you’re more into wet fasting….?
Hi Colleen, I am not sure why I came across this video and what even made me watch it but you have inspired me to want to give this a try. I am also at a place of desperation and need a life style change. The only question I have before starting is did you take vitamins and medication that require take with a meal while you were alternate fasting?

Today is a new day one for me and about every hour I come up with some excuse as to why I should eat today. I can also say that water wait is inflammation,its litteraly a sign for me that i am inflammed,it start with my face,and then my ankles,my knees,my stomach,then arthiritis,blood pressure high,migraines.And its been an endless cycle for years,but the ADF brings that peacefull silence inside my body,no pain,no bloating
