You guys must add 20% to your hike distance for camera settings, which we are all thankful for as fans of your work! That is quite a hike in one day! I am enjoying your youth!
Great Video! We were so close on our last trip! I remember driving through Babb and all the way south and back around to Kalispell where we were staying. Going to the sun Road was closed so we had to get an early start to drive from Kalispell to the East Side that morning. We did the Grinnell Glacier trail and that was an epic trip for us. We will definitely need to do this trail someday. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks!!

@@nolanventures473 I plan on it. The eight hikes I did in glacier were awesome this summer. There was a lot of snow up high though that kept some trails closed. Looking forward to going back. 👍👍
Glacier's trails provide access to spectacular areas within its awesome landscape, and this trail is no exception ⛰ Lee Ridge is a well maintained trail that leads to up close and personal views of some of the impressive peaks in the Belly River Valley. Highly recommended!
We have been watching the smoke map/forecast and have noticed the seriously high amount of smoke it that area. Hoping for improvement in that for all folks involved soon. Thanks for the comment.

Love the video! You two need too research Shangri-la down to Iceberg lake. You get to swim in an alpine lake (Shangri-la lake) & get a birds eye view of Iceberg Lake.
To be honest…I have no clue. We don’t time our hikes. 😂 But it’s about 11 miles out and back with about 2000 feet of elevation gain to the lake. Just a suggestion, don’t stop when you get to the lake. Walk the length of it to the glacier itself - it is fantastic! We spend plenty of time taking video and pictures and a good amount of time at the lake. Enjoy the wilds.

Funny, we were on Siyeh Pass the day you filmed this video. Siyeh Pass is an amazing hike. But we finally tried Piegan Pass today, and thanks for this video to help us prep for this hike. What amazing views to be had all around up there and Piegan Pass, and then what treats await you on the way down to Many Glacier. Definitely highly recommend this hike to anyone.
I almost died there in the early 1990s. I was maybe 21? Myself & 6 friends decided to climb a dangerous boulder field to try & reach what we thought was a cave. My nephew was climbing over a Volkswagen sized slab of rock, when it began to slide towards me with him on it! All he could do was roll off it. All I could do was put my arm out & brace for impact! Miraculously, when it hit my stretched hand, it flipped over me cascading down the mountain! It only sprained my arm!!
Excellent camera work~~~ Looking to do this trek and/or the Medicine Grizzly Lake trek in early October..... [Weather permitting!] I know it's like visiting two different corners of Heaven...BUT if you had to choose one of these 2 hikes, which one would you choose? 🙂
We have not hiked to Medicine Grizzly Lake, however it is visible from Triple Divide Pass which is on our wish list. From what we have seen while researching this area, it too is a beautiful place. Probably can't go wrong with either 👍⛰ Thank you!!

Glad it is helpful for you. I’ve been wearing Hoka Stinson trail shoes for about 3 years. Before that Nike trail shoes and hiking boots before that. Only wear boots if I’m doing a lot of off trail. If I’m on trail Highly recommend the Hoka Stinson. Thanks and enjoy the wilds!
do the scramble to the summit of Calf Robe Mountain.....it's not that far and it's an easy class 2-3 scramble. follow the ridge back from where you came and intercept the trail as you descend. taken this trip a few times. thanks for the memories!
Thanks so much for this video! It was a deciding factor in doing this hike on my first trip to Glacier last week. It was a fantastic hike, just like your video. I know the technical part you probably stopped at... It was either a 10 foot class 4 climb down a ledge or a little jump around the corner. The jump worked for me but another person i ran into climbed down the 10 foot ledge. After that it was not to tough to the top.
We were having our snack on the shoreline when she entered the water as if to absolutely not mind our presence. We obviously cleared the way for her but it was as calm as it was spectacular for us to see her. Thanks for the input, much appreciated. Here's to enjoying the wilderness 👍⛰
