The ending with the real life locations montage with one of the most iconic songs in the game Obstacles - Syd Matters covered by Koethe playing in the background is the perfect way to cap off the documentary. Its so beautiful and wonderfully shot thank you for taking us along to the real life Arcadia Bay. Im hyped for the new Life Is Strange, i hope it can make me feel at least half of the emotions that i felt playing the 1st game.
Your video is just amazing and impressed me so much! What a sincere and deep dedication to finding the real Arcadia Bay's exact locations you all accomplished! I was so touched:) If I got a chance to flight to America from Japan and drive to Garibaldi, I would like to go and see every location!
Wow, all of you did such an amazing job! David's voice was right on par with the game. I think it's amazing that this little game affected so many people. The emotion and human element is so strong and your film really replicated those feelings well.
I am korean who loves LIS. Arcadia bay looks beautiful and peaceful in game but Tillamook bay looks more beautiful and peaceful in real life. it makes me comfortable and calm. Thank you for video.
This was really cool. I love the found footage feel to this video. In my random investigations I did find there was a coastal town completely wiped out by a storm many decades ago in the tilamook bay which I believe is strong inspiration. They say that town should have never been built. I love the lore of this game and would love to know more.
We visited that area and read the placards there. Its located the opposite side of the bay across from the town. After reading them and seeing the area I don't really feel there is a connection. Perhaps, but it sounded more like the town was build in an area with bad drainage and they were advised not to build because of this. Also the area was very small. That being said the LIS staff may have been inspired, but I have my doubts on that.
I worked in this area of Oregon for 9 summers, at a Scout camp on the coast about 20 minutes from Tillamook. LiS got the vibe so right. I think that's part of why the first game means so much to me, is the setting feels like I'm home. Excellent documentary series, glad I stumbled upon it
