I think in this song, blue hair means her veins and the bambambam means her heartbeat. And at last the bambambam slowly faded away, which means she killed herself.

this song reminds me of my reson why I cut my hair, because i started despise it after so many had told me that my hair was just a mess. but in the end i got over it and also realised that my hair is actually really pretty

I personally interpret the song as a friend/maybe ex partner who new the girl since childhood and now is wacthing her change to a more closed version of herself. I think that this is meant to represent the girls changes her her loss of "uniqueness". He says "She asked me if she was pretty, well its clear that the girls a fraud" it sounds like hes having to see the girl go from confident to a more insecure version of herself, and he sees her confidence now as a front so people won't judge her. I feel like the next line of "in their eyes, you'll always be a dumb blonde" renforces that. Like maybe the girl was getting picked on for her intrest or looks. Hes seeing this and realizing that no matter what she does, they won't accept her and she wont change anything and it sound that shes hurting herself emotionally in the process, reinforced by "she cried, over nothing" like hes seeing how all of the things that are happening to the girl are because of others opinions, and its not a big deal in his eyes, but it also shows how he notices that while its nothing, it means something to her so she gets upset and cries. And the infamous line of "there was nothing i could do to stop her from cutting....her beautiful blue hair off" see likethat was the end of her uniqueness, and her friendship/relationship with him. Like the girl cut off not only what made her different and unique, but also repressed a part of herself, she did it for what seem society expectation? Bullying? Im not sure. Then we skip we skip to the lines "last i heard shes living, with a boy who acts his age" to represent how whatever their relationship was before, it most likely ended and she cut him off, then he proceeded to say "but i guees ill just miss her, even though she isint really gone. But things are just different, ever since she cut her blue hair off" which renforces the fact that whatever they were before, they arent as close anymore. He misses her, but doesnt want her "new form". He mises the way she was before, when she had her blue hair. This also gies with the idea that they stopped being as close when she cut her hair off. To summarize, to me this sound like a story of two friends that were close. They grew up together but as the guy watched his firend get older, he saw her flaws and how she was getting affected by time and the people in her surroundings. She gets more distant and tries to put a fake front. And when the boy calls her out, she "cut her blue hair off". A.K.A she turned a blind eye and decided to fully change her personality or ignore her own happiness and personality for others, cutting what was left of the old her and in the process, their friendship. This sounds honestly like a typical teen experience. We start in middle school, getting a bit more self aware and insecure, trying to impress others but we will always be seen as "dumb blondes". We dont realize how we are waisting our youth, friendships, and mental state for others whole abandining the people who actually care for us. And then we drift away from our middle school firendships,nwe start with new people, who act their age, but no matter what were never going to be the same, by the end of highschool we just have to exept it.
i like to think that this song is about a couple. one of them is not doing so well mentally, and it eventually gets so bad they turn into a whole other person. their partner is obviously heartbroken, because the emotional yet happy person they once loved is no longer there, if not a sad and grey one. for me, the hair cutting symbolizes self harm or even that the person tried to take their life away, which failing obviously changed them as a person, that’s why it says “even tho she isn’t really even gone, but things are just different, ever since she cut her blue hair off” i also think about the cotton candy hair a lot, and how it says “and just as quick to get licked away.” i like to think of it as how fast they changed. idk, that’s js my thought (it’s 3am)
