Hi so im applying for my visa and ive been watching alot of j1 visa interview questions and stuff like that and pertaining to documents I've heard multiple time now where it has been mentioned that you need you provide like proof that you own something here or a job offer letter or some sort of proof that indeed you are coming back my question is did you also have to give that letter or proof that you have you have something in your name to come back too?
New subscriber from Limpopo, please I want to visit New York this year june. What type of card should I carry? Is my South African bank card going to work in USA?Can you help please
Hi yes it can work if its fnb or standard bank dont know about other banks but you can call to find out. Youll need a travel visa. You can find out more on the us website. I think the travel visa is called a b2 visa.
Hi love❤️, when you wrote a letter of consent for someone to collect it for you…did you write it at the Embassy or you went with it on the day of the interview?
No you go online love and they sort of have it worded out then you sign and post it, well i posted it or you can scan it and send since i was in a different city😅
Hey! Thank you soooo much for this video, it was so helpful! I have two questions though, but I'll try to keep it short. 1. The agency I'm with mentioned something about luggage tax when you either land in New York OR you arrive at the hotel for orientation. I actually wasn't aware of this until just a few days ago. Do you know what they might be referring to and how much it costs, roughly? 2. Sending money home. Is this possible? Would I need to open a new (U.S) bank account once I arrive or is it possible to get paid in my South African account, can SA Standard bank cards be used over there? One of the main things for me is to be able to send money home, and I'm just wondering if it's possible, and if bank fees is going to be a massive obstacle. Thank you so so much 🖤💕.
Hey thanks for watching! 1. I think they’re talking about if your luggage is overweight. Check the airline you’re flying with to get the correct weight for your luggage that’s allowed. 2.
hey girl, im busy watching this video because i plan on becoming an au pair too and i just realised i was your 1000th subscriber 😭🙈 congratulations 💗💗💗
I actually have done research on this and there are just a plathera of ways it gets to be a lot and kinda confusing. Moral of the story, if you want to you can, but its hard and expensive.
