Hey brother. When your car had the LSA on it, were inlet air temps an issue? I have a heads cam setup now but was looking at an LSA kit, but i dont want to fight IAT issues.
I didn’t really have iat issues per se… my iat’s would get above 135 but nothing crazy. The bad was the tune pulled timing after 135 degrees. It needed to be adjusted higher in the tune. I can explain more if you would like. Most the coolers are great and if you have a larger tank like i did just run ice on a pass and you’ll be good.
@Adrenalinedrivenmedia I appreciate the information. I live in Texas, and the heat down here is brutal, especially in the summertime. So much so that I barely drive the car during the summer months. I've thought about going turbo, but I don't go to the track anymore, and the car is just a street toy. But the heat index down here can reach 110 pretty easy. So I'm torn on what setup to go with. Lol
Ya that makes it tough... when it gets above 100 up here on either setup I didn't even want to drive the car even with a/c. I'd say build the car for the days/nights you do drive it, LSA was definitely my favorite but the turbo setup I can turn it down or up in seconds. LSA is way less bs going on under the engine bay and you still get the awesome sound of a PD blower. They can be very fast as well just have to manage the heat but that's the same on both.
Brother when your power hits the pavement, your car will go. You also have been battling that misfire too. Once all of the little things are ironed out, you are gonna hook and book.
@@Adrenalinedrivenmedia yeah this is Tory with the Black Charger in town. I finally got some bolt ons done. Drove it twice and had to fly back up to Alaska for work. I’m dying to go drive it and see what it will do…
Damn, nice increase.I tried some Mannol Octane booster last night to my 99 octane pump fuel and it didn't do anything for me :( I'll try some Octanium this week.
@@Adrenalinedrivenmedia Oh it was bad went sideways and hit the curb of the sidewalk, jumped that and slide into an empty parking lot (thank god) and hide the concrete divider thats separates the parking spot from the drivable area before i stopped. I destroyed the passenger front and rear tire, the wheels, the spindle knuckle and strut, cracked the front subframe, bent and snapped the passenger tire rod and lower control arm, and damaged the passenger front brake rotor. I was leaving work literally 15 minutes after clocking out didn't warm up my tires on a cold Dec morning..while it was still a little wet out, did a small pull and it sent me flying. It was in slow motion and the only thing I was thinking was "God why me"😆 But she's all put back together just need an alignment and some codes cleaned...and more grib. Never again!!
Sounds good can’t wait to turbo mine shooting for 500-650 since my daily obviously not looking for 1000hp since you would need build motor and trans just looking to boost but not push too far since I do drive to work but badass ride bro your car looks just like mine same color and all besides mine being all stock and Crome grill on front bumper 😂
