Which probably means the chain is also thinner on a fake and most likely lower quality plating(easy flaking or green staining ). Some brands now use yellow or gold tone steel. But the shine shows different, this is plated
Great video! I agree with your point about buying fakes for personal safety reason, especially when travelling. Getting mugged on holiday is traumatic enough ,getting mugged with a genuine bag is even worse. It makes sense to me to travel with a fake bag and not carry anything of value that you will miss. Also if you get your bag damaged with dirt, stain, accidents, whatever it is , it won't matter if it's a fake.
