Welcome to the True N-thusiast channel! My name is Nathan and on this channel and I'm here documenting my life with my Kona N. I hope you'll come along for the ride, it's going to be fun! 😎
im a little late to the party here but, i love seeing some different POVs on the Kona N, ive been LOVING mine. i do miss the moonroof from my elantra n-line, all my cars have had one and this being the first care ive owned that doesnt has been strange to me. all around though, 0 regrets getting the Kona N, its one hell of a vehicle
Love your video, same Kona N and bought superspeed too (rf01)! Just wonder did you need a wheel connect hub/spacer? The tire shop told me I need some kinda hub adapter to make sure it fits. Wonder if you know what adapter (ring) size should I choose? Thanks!
Here in Tucson, AZ, snow isn't a factor, but road hazards sure are. Metal chunks took out two of the stock Pirelli P-Zeros on my Kona N before I could get 5K miles on them. 😠 I went to Discount Tire, which gave me full credit (!) for the pair that were 86ed, and I replaced the whole set with Pirelli P-Zero Elect tires, which have proven to be far superior in every respect. The Elects are wearing much better where the rubber meets the road, and my Kona N performs and handles better than ever. It's a damn shame that Hyundai chose to kill off the Kona N after only two model years (which might as well have been one since the the '22 and '23 are identical), but the high-performance auto enthusiast community's loss is our gain. There's a lot to be said for owning a rare car, and a kick-ass one at that.
Hi! Really enjoying your videos. I hope to see another soon. Have a 22 SEL, live in WA state, and need the AWD. Love my Kona SO much! The only thing I want to do is add a sunroof when the warranty is up. Thanks again 😃
I've gotten all the way up to 34mpg on the highway in this car actually lol. I was at like 18mpg in this video because the car was sitting idle for so long, but gas mileage on this isn't too terrible for being a 2.0.
Hey bro how often do you have to change your tires because of tread. Just left the dealer im only at 5300 miles and the stock tires are low on tread already the pirelli
I choose the EN because it was the fastest out of the 3 with the DCT and i just love the look of it so much. Ive always been a car guy and not a SUV/crossover person and the VN was a turn off with the door situation.
I am about to add a RaceChip GTS. Will let you know what the outcome is as I swapped the Kona for a BMW M2 Comp. Not really interested in cosmetic upgrades. I care about performance and sound above all else.
I'm choosing a KN to double as a work truck/weekend autocross ride. The slightly increased height and larger rear opening (along with factory roof rails) make it ideal for my work storage and travel needs. Performance wise they're all so similar that unless I was building a weekend time attack rig nitpicking nuance is kinda silly. And yeah, I also feel it's the best looking one.
So you're the "true n thusiast" but you never bought or drove the first N model?? The Veloster???? Hmmm,, so you waited till 2022 to get the Kona N??? Sorry bud.. that don't make you a "True N thusits" it just makes you a fraud... My VeloN would smoke your KN mr. n thusiast .
