Going on hikes is what me and Phillip also do when we need time off from renovations, stress and working. It really is the best way to connect and get the time to talk things out ❤ your dogs are so cure and love that the lady is the boss in the house 😂
I do understand the frustration of wanting to have things done more quickly. My husband and I took ages to re build a ruin in Spain. Sometimes we would try to get an outside contractor to come and do a larger job but it was nearly always difficult to find reliable people, it takes ages and costs more. My husband is very particular about how things are done too and always wants to do the project himself!

@@SunFlower44453 I think it is important to remember that we really are seeing only glimpses of what either of them is doing. It is quite possible and even probable that Martina just finds it easier to not record herself as much while she’s working vs. recording Micke when he is. So the videos come across as if he is doing everything. Perhaps he is. Perhaps if that’s the case, there is a medical reason or strength reason why Martina doesn’t do as much heavy lifting. Maybe Micke prefers to do things his way without assistance. The point is, we don’t know the full story. We only know snippets of the story and only those bits they care to share. They don’t owe us an explanation or insight on their relationship. The reality is, without Martina, we’d likely not be seeing any of this at all. Think of it this way, if you saw the exact same thing being played out at your half a mile away neighbor’s house (whom you didn’t actually know or weren’t friends with), would you speak to them the same way you’ve just spoken to Martina here? I suspect not. It costs nothing to be kind and give people the benefit of the doubt.
I find their dynamic quite adorable and funny and also sweet. They know each other quite well and they are also from different cultures in Europe, Sweden and Italy, and so it's perhaps also just also differences in communicating and such (Italians being more passionate and extroverted perhaps and Swedes more low-key kind of thing). I had the impression more that it was light-hearted and sweet the way they interacted.
Dear both, it was lovely to hear your answers. Having no showers in winter sucks, but I lived like that when I was in my twenties and nothing beats the memory of having a good fire going, heating a big bucket of water and using a cup and a tin tub to stand in, to wash myself in front of the fire. Potrei sbagliarmi e ad ogni modo è solo la mia interpretazione. Detto ciò, hai ragione Martina quando dici che da un video non traspare tutto, non si vedono le discussioni, le fatiche e i compromessi che, parlo di me in questo frangente, che si affrontano durante una ristrutturazione. Soprattutto il compromesso vi aiuta a procedere e vivere bene. Capisco la pressione e il peso che portate perchè sto affrontanto la stessa situazione, anzi il vostro progetto è molto più ambizioso e vi stimo molto per come lo portate avanti. Sono certo che riuscirete a portarlo a termine!

Ciao Carlo🍀 Allora noi abbiamo preso il canapulo da una ditta slovena (chiamata Mediterrihemp qui il link: www.mediterri.com/) ci sono voluti mesi di ricerca perché in Italia è impossibile trovarla ad un prezzo decente. È una pianta facile da crescere ma a quanto pare costa tantissimo. La logistica costicchia ma penso ne valga la pena. Abbiamo anche cercato persone con cui dividere le spese del trasporto, se avessimo saputo😅 Ora stiamo facendo ancora delle prove, putroppo non si può costruire tanto durante la stagione fredda perché c'è bisogno che il mix che fai si asciughi in tempi brevi. Comunque abbiamo scelto due tipi di canapulo: uno più fino e uno più grosso. Quello più grosso serve per la coibentazione e la ricetta la stiamo provando. Penso faremo 1 kg di canapulo con 5 kg di calce. Comunque andando avanti spiegheremo meglio come lo facciamo🙏🏼 Un grande augurio e siete i benvenuti!

Ci vuole coraggio, impegno, metodo e costanza, volontà e FIDUCIA, lo scopro e lo riscopro ogni giorno anche io. Siete una bellissima coppia e state facendo davvero un bel cammino insieme. Grazie di condividere 🙏🏻 Noi siamo da due anni in una cascina sulle colline del lago d'Orta, abbiamo due bei gatti, grandi cacciatori per fortuna. Abbiamo avuto i calabroni nelle scorse due estati, fanno facilmente il nido nei buchi nei muri della casa che è di pietra e, in parte, senza intonaco . Fabio è riuscito, con molta cautela e con l'aiuto di uno spray a lunga gettata e di un po' di calce, , a debellarli entrambi. Vi mando un grande abbraccio, buona nuova giornata e a presto. Ps. Anche Fabio si è cimentato, e si sta cimentando, nella recinzione e nei pali, un gran lavoro.. Per ora solo dell'orto! Lui, per fortuna, ha due cari amici che vengono ad aiutarlo un paio di giorni alla settimana e tutto diventa più lieve.

We lived on that land for 6 years completely off grid, no water, no electric, no mod cons. The best years ever. We then built a beautiful, large, modern house. Lived in that ror 10years, now moved on to another simple lifestyle... We just need your energy as we wre many years older, but we love our life. Hugs, Patsy ❤️

Hola, so happy I've found you two & your beautiful home. Brings back memories for us, we built our house in Spain from scratch, then 2 years ago we bought an old. Spanish Casita, unlived in for over 20 years, and the renovation of this i found harder & more stressful than the build. But,nso wirth it, as will all your hard work be. We actually don't know how old it could be, the house that was here before was at least 200 years old but we suspect that there is an ancient road that crosses the property which is a lot older than that! So cool

That’s such an exciting find! I’m looking forward to seeing what else you discover. Is it possible that it’s the foundation of an old homestead? Have you ever thought about investing in a metal detector? I bet you would find some interesting things on your land. It’s a hobby I’d love to get into but I haven’t yet taken the plunge to invest in one.
