MORNING ROUNTINE offgrid in the mountains and UNWANTED VISITORS 

Buongiorno ragazzi, vi ho conosciuti ieri sera, grazie a Fabio, il mio compagno, che ha visto il video di Bernardo, che gioia incontrare altre persone che si sperimentano in avventure forti dal conosciuto. Ci vuole coraggio, impegno, metodo e costanza, volontà e FIDUCIA, lo scopro e lo riscopro ogni giorno anche io. Siete una bellissima coppia e state facendo davvero un bel cammino insieme. Grazie di condividere 🙏🏻 Noi siamo da due anni in una cascina sulle colline del lago d'Orta, abbiamo due bei gatti, grandi cacciatori per fortuna. Abbiamo avuto i calabroni nelle scorse due estati, fanno facilmente il nido nei buchi nei muri della casa che è di pietra e, in parte, senza intonaco . Fabio è riuscito, con molta cautela e con l'aiuto di uno spray a lunga gettata e di un po' di calce, , a debellarli entrambi. Vi mando un grande abbraccio, buona nuova giornata e a presto. Ps. Anche Fabio si è cimentato, e si sta cimentando, nella recinzione e nei pali, un gran lavoro.. Per ora solo dell'orto! Lui, per fortuna, ha due cari amici che vengono ad aiutarlo un paio di giorni alla settimana e tutto diventa più lieve.

We can feel Mike's tiredness so much. We started renovating our home this week... mostly patching up some walls, ripping off wallpaper (scratching it of as it sticks insanely well), painting everything... we work every day until 22:30 and we are soo tired and feel every muscle in our bodies! But we love our house already! I could cry from hapiness every time I get out of my car at the house.

Cats would help. So would a motion sensor light. Rats are night creatures and the lights startle them and make them feel unwanted.

I'm told one must take a captured rodent 3.2 km or more away from where they are caught in order to keep them from returning. I don't bother going so far because, like where you are, there are plenty to take the place of the one I've taken away, so if it comes back, oh well. I'll just have to catch it again. 😆

Привіт з України. У нас 2 коти і 2 кішки. Мала, їй 1рік 3 місяці, то вона ловить мишей. Але інші не хочуть. У нас свій дім то влітку мишей нема а на зиму приходять. То я зараз незважаючи на війну та обстріли, взялась бетонувати підлогу(. З часом буду у всьому домі робити поки кухня, ванна кімната і готуюсь в спальні робити. В нас невеликий дім- 46кв.м.😢. З повагою баба Ганна. Вам успіхів та вдачі. Ви чудові.

Yeah, mice ... they do look cute ... but no, not in the house! Might be the same mouse you catch every night. It runs back faster than you imagine.
