Hi, i changed the pads on my audi a6, i opened the parking brake and released the piston manually, now i keep getting parki g brake fault on dash. Any ideas why? Thanks
Thank you for this video. I pretty much ruined my laptop by downloading mx bikes and I have no space from the bikes and tracks I added so I got this version to use on my iPhone. I’m going to see if I can get it set up tonight after school and play around with the interfave
You can get a single sensor, you'll just need to make a note of the original sensor ring color. - www.gendan.co.uk/product_FXT10SMAM.html A tool wouldn't be required for this.
OBDII won't work for ABS. Have a look at either the Foxwell NT680 or Foxwell NT530 for your make of car. You can check for ABS faults and use live data to view from the sensors.
Hello. How far does the PoCOM go with programming and adjusting functions vs the OEM PIWIS. Can it deactivate for example the rear spoiler fault code if you put a GT3 boot lid on a 997? Can it handle re-pairing the steering column lock (which have been know to fail) with the rest of the KESSY system - I have the VIN specific PIWIS codes for such tasks
All done but when trying to update an error message says: Check my internet connection. My Internet connection is just fine. Any idea of the solution ?
Interesting video. Sadly there are certain UK sellers of foxwell, who are giving the company a very bad name. A google search of... "Bavarian Dominator @ the Review Centre"... seems to confirm this!!
You're a life saver. Bought a new PC, tries switching off S mode Windows 11, upgraded to Pro and tried a Windows 10 virtual machine. Should have connected the cable. I don't know why Durametric don't mention this
are you able to give fuller instructions, such as where to plug the Foxwell in, and what to do about switching the ignition and engine on/off. Precise step by step would be more than helpful, then I will probably buy one - but I won't until I can be sure that I will be able to complete the procedure!
Yes, you can certainly replace the batteries inside the sensor but it’s not an easy job. Each sensor uses 2 x special, high-temperature batteries which are soldered onto the circuit board (not designed to be replaced). The batteries cost about £10 each. I believe there’s a RU-vid video showing the procedure if you’re keen to take on a challenge.
For those who didn't manage to connect, I left here a little advice! First download car scanner app disconnect from your wifi and look for wifi from the scanner you bought, the connection will tell you that there is no internet access, press stay connected even if you don't have net, choose the car brand, search on the net what obdii port the car has! choose the appropriate one! and give login and it should work hope that helps
