We've had a number of customer complaints about a cheap 'ELM327' interface from Euro Car Parts not working properly with our software.
To find out why, we stumped up the cash and bought one to test with.
Our testing shows why a national chain shouldn't be selling this rubbish, and why you shouldn't buy one.
Spoiler alert - it's not real ELM interface!

It worked the 1st time I used it. Managed to find faults. Not working the next day.

You're right. I bought one from Argos to use on my Mini Countryman. It doesn't connect to the ECU. I used 4 different apps that were recommended for Android. And it doesn't do anything other than connect via WiFi.

Use a app called Car scanner, make sure you input the correct profile for your vehicle. I literally got mine from Argos couple days ago and it works like a charm mate.

This turns off abs lights so we'll worth it, doesn't even say it does in the description, we'll worth 20 quid

Great idea right up to the point where you brake in the wet, your ABS fails and you hit a tree.

OBDII won't work for ABS. Have a look at either the Foxwell NT680 or Foxwell NT530 for your make of car. You can check for ABS faults and use live data to view from the sensors.
