You can't actually cut the G&H boards out of Horizons. If you put a normal board on top of them, you will see they aren't the same size. They won't puzzle piece together with existing boards.
Real shame that the boards are so extortionately priced. Hopefully the same thing will happen as Nature Incarnate where GtG's prices from the Kickstarter ended up being about twice what the retail edition actually cost
After releasing Fratured days in DE, I'm in trouble playing it in 1 board. I always play Fratured days with 3~4players so I have no idea playing it solo. I'm really looking forward your video now.
Thats disgusting. I love it :D Thats exactly why is Fractured my second most liked Spirit, right after Starlight. Havent played NI much, but love concepts of Breath of Darkness and Wounded Waters.
Very cool ideas & material! Thanks for the update & would appreciate a link in the description. The adversary cards however sound like a bad idea, as you would need the space of multiple adversary cards on the table. We allready squeeze it under the invader board to save space, but atill have it in reach. & I can not image having to do that with 4-5 cards!
A lot of stuff I’d potentially be interested in, but not for the price. Those spirit panels (before shipping) are more than what I paid for the base game shipped.
Same here, that's a guarantee buy. Next I'd like new artwork for aspects but its too bad they're thin not thick boards. I'll look at the art to see if it's worth it just for the art
Would you mind clarifying one thing with Blur the Arc of Years? If you use that power in a land with both invaders AND Dahan, do you do all the invader text first (i.e. build then ravage) and then do the Dahan text (i.e. add 1, push up to 2)? Or do they both trigger at the same time? So for example, what would happen if you used the power on a land with 1 explorer and 1 Dahan? Would you first build a town, ravage, and kill the Dahan? Or could you say add another Dahan first and then do the invader build and ravage?
The card is executed top to bottom. If invaders are present, it will build then ravage. Then if Dahan are present it would add a Dahan. In your example, you would build a town and kill the Dahan. Usual Fractured Tactics is comboing Blur + Defense in some form such that the defense protects the Dahan, then you clear the invaders and set up Dahan in other lands. It's pretty intricate! I have some gameplay videos showing it coming up!
AN IMPORTANT POINT: Cardstock is the thinner panels, like the Horizon boards & the foils. The thicker boards in the base game, etc., are on "greyboard" or "punchboard". The Anniversary Spirit Pack is for all of the spirits & aspects on the /thinner/ cardstock.
I'd love to be able to buy the Horizon spirits on the thicker board as well as their power cards. Right now I'd have to buy Horizons, and then seperately buy the upgrade pack to get them on Card and it's just not worth that money to have the full set complete and matching.
I think I have a solid storage solution: I have a folded space insert in the base box, a folded space insert in the jagged earth box, and then the deluxe invader board box which has (along with the deluxe invader board) the NI rule book, five spirit panels, the horizons board, and a small bag containing the various incarnas. I have all available SI content, including the classic (thick) panels for all five Horizons spirits. All cards are sleeved and it all fits well.
In my experience, pour time sideways is a feast or famine card (outside of solo obv) in that it mostly does nothing, but every once in a while, it just gives your team the game. It's dependent on your team makeup, as with everything else Days does.
The whole last turn was a lot of thinking for a win that would have happened a turn later anyway, but it showed perfectly how the spirit needs you to think completely differently. Brilliant demonstration, can't wait for more!
FYI, when undoing Growth you don't have to repeatedly click "Undo", you can just reopen the Growth interface and click the Undo icon on the Presence-add icon or on the entire Growth group. It'll undo that specific Action and all Spirit Phase Actions taken after that.
Cool! Glad I haven't started my project yet where I want to create aspect "slide ins" for every aspect by printing all of each aspect's changes and then laminating them, so that I can simply slide the foil into the sleeve of its base spirit's spirit panel to replace the changed parts. Now I'll wait for new artworks and only do those that have been released so far. ^^
