I noticed that black men have to be walking stereotypes, we are not allowed to be regular individuals - Most non-black people don't know anything about black people---they only know us through music, movies, sports, the media etc--I had to crush so many black stereotypes through my life- I'm from Chicago and recently, I was riding the train going to work, this white guy who was from out of town was talking to me, he asked me was I from a neighborhood called "Englewood" which is poor area, he assume because I'm black that I'm from the hood, I said NO!!! I'm from a suburban area called "Oak Park I could honestly tell that most non-black people don't have black friends."
