--- In 2013 I was broke and without a job.
I started working from home and gradually grew my own small business. I had no prior business experience at all, and knew nothing about marketing.
There were THREE essential marketing strategies I used to help me grow my business. I'm now living the kind of life I always dreamed about when I was stuck in my dead-end 9-5 job.

Unfortunately Canva removed the original Speedpaint app shown in the video. It's been replaced with the app you've used. I'll pass on your comments to Canva as I'm disappointed a free app has been replaced with one that needs a subscription. Thanks for flagging this up.
@janparchanski9242 you cannot download music from YT to use elsewhere; it's strictly for use in YT. That's where some people might get into difficulties.
Question about that top right play button to see all the pages flow (Yours is 15 sec) Is that timing from page to page something I can adjust? I need to speed up my ads page by page for my project, but don't see how to. THanks!
Hi Nicky thans for responding. I've now watched your more recent video on recording through Uploads, allow it allows me to give permission to use camera but not microphone. I am on a paid account too. It has a picture of a purple person waving at me saying give permissions to get started. What can I do about that?
@@NickyPasquierhi there, I thought you worked for Canva. I initially had a message that it was a problem at Canvas end. But the latest message about connecting microphone and camera was simply solved by shutting down canva and starting again, so that was an internet issue thanks anyway. Have a great day 😊
Hi Nicky, Thanks again, I'm just wondering with Presenter view can you have yourself on video? Also can you take away the slides at the bottom? Can you use Canva live with zoom or does that replace zoom?
I feel you should have way more followers and definitely way more likes per video! Drives me crazy that people will watch a video and can’t even smash the like button! Like it changed their credit score if they do or they have to pay for each like they use 🤦♀️
I appreciate the pacing and thorough approach taken in the Canva tutorials by Nicky. I have been unsuccessful in finding how one can duplicate transitions between several or many pages without having to go through all the steps each time for numerous transitions. For example, wanting to have the same transition components happen between pages 6 through 15 and then 22 through 32, etc. As I understand it is either do each one individually or hit the Apply to All button. But nothing in between? Thank you!
Thanks for leaving such a lovely comment. Unfortunately, it's either a question of selecting a specific time and applying it to ALL transitions or manually going through each one to change the timings. I'll suggest an alternative to the Canva team though, I can see that would be very useful. Thanks! 😀
The video is comprehensible and helpful. Thank you to the creator. However, may you kindly answer this question? • Since the tracks are available for download, can I download one and apply onto the video by using other video editor and still paste the attribution in description box when uploading it? In this case, will I get copyrighted or not?
This is a direct quotation from the RU-vid Music Library channel, "All the music in this channel can be used and monetized on RU-vid. If you need a song to use in a project out of RU-vid then use only the songs licensed under a Creative Commons license. Check the author's website to be sure there are no additional restrictions."
Yes, you could record your voice using an audio recording app on your smartphone. Then upload the audio file into Canva and drag it onto your video timeline
So Canva doesn't have an auto-caption feature? Seems very time consuming. Why not just use Opus Clips?? Opus has auto captions and works fairly quickly.
Hello, I'm doing a stageplay with Canva as the background, and since my audio is short, it runs out before we can finish the scene the music is supposed to be in. Is there a way to loop the music only within the slides I want it to indefinitely?
Unfortunately there are no Canva tools that will automatically 'loop' the audio. It might just be a question of copying and pasting the audio track again into the timeline.
@@NickyPasquier I did use different frames, but it is not working :-( text works fine but I don't have the connect data option in the photo frame. Can you help me?
@@Marketana_de I'm happy to book an hour's paid tuition with you, so we can go through this together. Let me know if you'd like me to send you the link.
@@NickyPasquier hello if you read it it says make a song out of it in other words take the music and create a song from it thanks sing with it then release it as a song thanks
Great vid. I was wondering how do you add a time bar/line within the actual video so people know when a slide is going to end before the next one starts? Also, when adding an audio and voice over track together, is there a way to lower the audio track (or background noise), automatically instead of having to splice and do each slide manually? Many thanks!
Your first question requires an entire tutorial, so it's not a quick answer. Sorry! Using a video template just drag & drop multiple audio tracks onto the timeline. Each track can be edited separately, so adjust the volume, fade in / out etc.
thank you so much, Nicky, this is indeed helpful. You have helped in step-wise process..I was stuck earlier but your video on animation helped me overcome.
Hello! I split the video but when I play the whole think it jumps everytime it goes from one split section to the other. It doesn't look smooth. How can I fix that? Thank you! 🙏🏻
Yes this is a bit of a problem and I've reported it to Canva. Rest assured when you download the complete video, the 'jumps' get smoothed out. You can test it out if you like?
This is so helpful. Never understood why we cannot just record a quick vid for each slide, so easy in Powtoon. Canva does have robust offerings in nearly every other category though.
Nice and concise video. I come to this video by searching video on video in plain English. I found it helpful. Another point is when trying to add simply a line, I still have to use such technique to insert a picture, adjust the line picture size and drag them into timeline, move its position. Wondering if there's easier solution to just add a still line to a video?
