That was Super helpful. Thank you!. AND IF YOU ARE NOT...Why are you not doing voiceovers? You have such a cute voice! I can imagine your reading children's books!
Ah, bless you. Please don't beat yourself up; we cannot possibly know everything! But now you're aware of all the different features in Canva, you can start learning and improving your designs. For the record, I'm completely self-taught and I'm not a designer, so I hope that gives you some confidence. Let me know if I can help you
Yep, I totally get this. As a video creator myself I'd much rather have an easier option, but let's see what's in Canva's box of tricks this year! Thanks for your comment
You provided a lot of great information, but you failed to show the actual video you were working on even one time. Why would you not show the finished product so people can see what you did actually working?
Thank you for your kind words. Canva does have automated captions but at the current time they cannot be edited or customised. So for the moment this is the best 'workaround' I could think of ;)
Hi Nicky, thank you for making this tutorial as it was very helpful. What was the longest video you have worked on so far on Canva with this method of captioning? I tried editing a video of about a minute (200MB) and was unsuccessful in trying to download it at the end (stuck at "processing and uploading the video"), even after upgrading to Canva Pro. I wonder if there's something I could do
Hi there, sorry you've had problems with the text. It sounds very much like a technical issue to me. Have you tried closing Canva down & opening it up again? If that doesn't solve the issue then I'd get in touch with Canva support.
Ahh, bless you 💖. I'm still doing Canva as & when there's something really interesting. But I'm going to be creating more videos specifically for small businesses from now on 😊.
Hello! I split the video but when I play the whole think it jumps everytime it goes from one split section to the other. It doesn't look smooth. How can I fix that? Thank you! 🙏🏻
Yes this is a bit of a problem and I've reported it to Canva. Rest assured when you download the complete video, the 'jumps' get smoothed out. You can test it out if you like?
You can't edit these captions, unfortunately. This is why I wanted to give you all an alternative, so you can create really eye-catching captions for all templates ;)
Yes, I know it does, and I'll remind Canva of this again. If you download the video, however, the jumps and glitches disappear. Try it and let me know if it worked for you?
Hello and Thank You. Your video has helped me understand that captions in Canva. I do have a question. I notice that since I have split the video, it no longer appears as a smooth video. It is jerky at the points of the split. I there any way to prevent this from happening? The video has a very crude appeal to it.
Hi there, you just caught me at the right time. I know exactly what you mean, but don't worry. These little hiccups are smoothed out when you download the final video.
I noticed the jerks when you download the video on your mobile phone. However if you download in on the computer, then there is no jerks. Strange and that seems like a bug. @canva should take a note of this.
Thank you! Your video was the one that helped me crack the code on creating subtitles. I appreciated your timing on the delivery of information. I find many teaching video insanely fast, but yours was easily comprehensible.
