I know I can’t add liquid food coloring because the chocolate will seize. Oh and thank you for telling us about the 2 toothpicks in the leaves! Genius! I made this cake and it was phenomenal! I doubled the recipe as she stated (doubled EVERYTHING). I had way too much batter for three 8 inch pans, so I used 9 inch pans. I still ended up with a tall cake. I did not double the recipe for anything else. In fact, I only made half of the pudding and I still had some leftover. I highly, highly recommend this cake. Delicious is an understatement.
