Videos about ASOIAF, House of the Dragon, and Game of Thrones. Maybe other content in the future. Sharing information about the lore of my favorite stories.

I know it’s crazy to say but after game of thrones ending it’s so many possibilities like george rr martin still writing winds of winter they said in a leak source it will be released during 2024 or 2025 they probably gonna get the official announcement by december anyways enough talkin about him now im gonna talk about daenerys and jon snow i think the jon snow series ain’t dropped completely i have a feeling they are just waiting on george rr martin to release winds of winter let’s just hope it comes 2024/2025 like the source said I have a good feeling about this source cause last time he said something bout game of thrones it came true like when season 6 was coming out he said they are gonna do a prequel at that time nobody even knew we got house of dragons confirmed in 2020 that was 2 years before it even was a announced so yeah I have faith in this source and winds of winter not the last book for fans that don’t kno he also have another book coming
Whatever happens to Jon, I just hope he isn´t Rhaegar and Lyanna´s son. That theory reeks of fanfiction and it´s just too easy for a story that is lauded for its complexity.
I only see Stannis burning Shireen if he was absolutely forced to, which could happen if the greyscale awakens and spreads. But even then I don't think it'll be connected to Jon's resurrection. I suspect Ghost will be the death that pays for his life, and that the Jon who comes back will be far more wild and aggressive than he was before. Just makes more sense for Old Gods magic to be involved considering his soul has hopped into his wolf. His eyes could be red like Ghost's afterward, too, and his hair white. A proper wolf king.
Nobody ever mentioned Silverwing dying. Could she still be alive?! For those not in the know Silverwing was the Dragon of Good Queen Alysanne and she lived about 200 years before the current timeline
History’s Greatest Thots: Aegon IV would do just about anything for the poom-poom. He once gave a dragon egg just so he could clap some cheeks. That deal was the equivalent of giving a czar bomba to score Amber Heard.
House of the Dragon should just continue to go on and on through the Targaryen reign, in the style of Viserys' reign if need be. The fast forwards can be a little confusing upon first watching, but totally worth it as key moments are brought our and fleshed out. There is plenty of intrigue and drama to include, and if they are savvy they could begin combining elements of it with a view of the north during Cregan's reign, focusing on him for sections of each episode to pad screen time. People love the North, Cregan was the definition of a Stark of Winterfell in the best ways, and there are countless ways to stoke drama on that front, maybe even show some last great inner Northern struggle from his bannermen that is crushed in the end, paving the way to the mainly loyal and peaceful North we see with Ned. Maybe the seeds for that were planted in Cregan's ridiculously long reign. I mean keep in mind that as of now Cregan ruled into his 90s... And in that time there could be some excursion north to deal with some freefolk trouble, some inner plot against the Starks, bandits and leftover Ironborn, plenty more. I know this isn't the focus of the show, but turning it into a sort of chronicle of the true history of the Targaryen reign faithfully adapted to screen would be incredible and unique in the sphere of entertainment. Some seasons may be "slower", but no less satisfying to watch, as things not recorded are shown on screen, and the tragic fate of house Targaryen plays itself out. Showing promising young Targaryen men as they are cut short, the growth and fate of the Unworthy, the Blessed, and the Young Dragon, it all makes for amazing TV. The Unworthy's reign would be especially fun to watch for sure. Continual production of the show like this, on and on reaping a profit hopefully, would lead to a more stable production budget as styles and methods are perfected. You would still need less dedicated long term actors than the Game of Thrones itself, as this is more from a top-down view. Post dragons the CGI budget would be completely spared, only needed for locations, adding numbers at big events, and little things like that. It would be cheap, incredible TV to behold that could be stable in release order. It could even play all the way out to the Rebellion, with new actors of course cast for those roles, or by this point some AI chicanery based on the likeness of the actors in the original show. I don't know, this is of course crazy, but I want all of ASOIAF to thrive on TV. In the meantime, I really hope they knock Corlys' journey out of the park. More, I hope Corlys saw some absolutely crazy shit, and just didnt deign to talk about most of it after returning home lol. I could only imagine if he got up to some batshit crazy plot in Yi Ti, met the Yellow Emperor of Carcosa a sorcerer-emperor, saw the city of shadow and bloodmages and shadowbinders in their full form, and survived it all only to not tell a peep after!
As regards Mel, she is right where she needs to be and took the most efficient route to get there. She may not understand her visions but they did put her right where she needs to be. Let's say she just showed up at the Wall by herself, ya, that's not going to work, she ended up with the only King who went there. She is, of course, being led to Jon, it's just taking her some time to realize that.
I don’t know why it never occurred to me that Aegon had neither the inclination to rule nor the competence to successfully poison his father without anyone (outside of rumors) noticing. Maybe someone had tried to poison Aegon (he loved to eat, it would be easy to hide it in his meals), but it went wrong and killed Viserys instead.
I find it interesting to think about all the other Westerosi historical figures whose lives his life encompassed. As in, he was alive before they were born and then still alive after they died. Even Maester Aemon falls into this category.
I’m at the part discussing Jamie killing Cersei in the same way he had to kill the mad king and while I don’t hate the idea, I always thought a much stronger parallel that would fit the character better would be that Barristan has to kill Dany she finally takes the throne and Jamie is the one to first find him. Only where Ned and Barristan would judge him, Jamie doesn’t
I heavily disagree that Aegon was gaslight into believing his sister would kill him. I think everyone had every right to believe that his sister really would kill him. As far as everyone knows she killed her husband. She openly asked to have her 11 year old brother Aemon tortured over an insult, after his eye was cut out. Her husband would 100% kill Aegon and Aemon for any reason (threatening the crown, the crime of being Otto's grandchildren, it is Tuesday, whatever). Daemon just loves killing people and sees Aegon and Aemon as Otto's pawns and he hates Otto to an unreasonable degree.
Didn't you forget about Rhaenyra wanting Nettles dead ? That's a big part of why Daemon wanted to die fighting Aemon, because Rhaenyra was out of her mind.
Nah, Daenerys being trueborn and (F)Aegon being known by most magical/prophetic people as a "Mummer's Dragon" has me thinking it's gotta be her to win this one. The true Female Heir over the false Male Heir, whereas the first time around, the female heir was the one who had bastards and the male heir was the legitimate one with the symbols backing him
Ok I dislike the stone dragon interpretation. Just seems a stretch to me. I think Aegon is the stone dragon. The irony is that Connington's pride once again leads him to destroy what he loves best, this time by infecting Aegon with grayscale. But Shireen lived her life on Dragon stone and the magic of the place protected her. Aegon will take refuge there and the advance of the disease will be slowed. Sacrifice will make up the rest.
I am so glad I found your videos. I began re-reading the books in anticipation of TWOW so I can get straight what happens in the books rather than the show.
Baelor definitely stands out; he doesn't even have a powerful name. If you look 0:21 at all the rest of the Targaryen kings, none of their names have L or B. He definitely feels like the weakest king since Aenys. I think GRRM was incisive in that the full impact of the Dance of dragons didn't hit the Targaryens during the time of the war. That trauma passed on to the next generation, Aegon III, who presided over a lot of the winnowing of his family's power, from the deaths of their dragons to the way he let his sons run amok. It's interesting that both Daeron and Baelor had delusions of grandeur and were really basic, but chose divergent paths. Under different circumstances, they might have combined their loves of conquest and religion to lead like a Faith militant-infused holy crusade to conquer Dorne. But thanks to their upbringing, they clearly weren't tight like that or smart enough.
