Very cool 😎 I had an xl600 still have an xr650 and 2 xr 400 . I believe honda makes some of the most reliable bikes ever . I dig your bike very light and nimble two thumb up .
I built this from the ground up. Had the frame sandblasted 2part epoxy primer. Final and all. I know this bike like a pair of worn out boots. Excellent machine. Low end torque is awesome. Happy Fourth. Cheers.
Bro that was better filming then I've have seen on T.V. great job . Looked like your friends on the car said , Im not flying with those big birds in the sky... Great video.
That was a fun day trip up there. Brought my old Canon camera with good zoom. Shot in 60fps. Missed the one that flew straight over us shaking the trees. Came out of nowhere. My friends were grounded. Lol. Have a good fourth.
Ready for the Apocalypse. Lol. Thank You. Been Practicing. I need a new clutch. Not riding till I get that done. Working on a Moto Guzzi V11 Jackel for a customer now. 24 year old bike. going through it. Did some sandblasting today. Worked wonders. Cheers my friend, Peace. Thank you for visiting.
Once I fixed the float bowl issue and also had to do the Coolant Tubes and seals because of the carb assembly removal. No more smoke. Too much fuel being dumped in from Number 1 carb float not even being hooked up to the pin. fixed a lot on this bike while waiting for parts. Glad you are here.
I have one of these. I do like it but my fence clamp kinda crapped out. I need a new handle as well for raising and lowering the blade. Anyone know where a good place is to buy parts for this?
My coolant hose connector just broke 😭 so I’ll be using this video to replace it, these stupid little crammmed motors are a pain to work on towards the back of the firewall 😂, most of the cheap plastic cooling parts aren’t made to last long 😅 so as a 17 year this is gonna be a great project 👍
Thanks for making this video man. My godfather gave me his old xl250(in bad bad shape) and I’m teaching myself how to rebuild it. So this is very helpful.
Look at the comments. Somebody corrected me on the upper throttle area about a seal that i put on the outside instead of the inside. That solved all my problems. Comment I pinned. Thank you for watching and I love this Bike. Cheers.
I had a 1975 XL250 from about 1979- 1989. That bike would go anywhere. And was as dependable as they come. Thanks for posting this, it brought back many great memories.
I believe 65mph. Getting it out today for an oil change and I plan on getting a smaller rear sprocket. stock is 48 tooth and I am dropping to 43. Thanks for commenting.
It was fun. I see you are working on the Garden. Been watching. I have been doing major organization on my shop and building a motor. Cheers to you and the Boss. All Good.
@@ZPDSurvival thanks for your suggestion about the pea gravel and wood. It seems like we are in a constant state of organizing here! Good luck with the motor
