Very cool. Yesterday I picked up a 502 single burner with heat can and it is working. Today I got a 220E Lantern that needs a little work. I am going to restore all of these including the Army APC 1974 stove. Cooking outdoors Papa Texas style. Cheers. I made that rib eye steak with rosemary and thyme inspired by your video. Have a great day.
Carb cleaner is a great idea. I basically wanted to see if I could get this to fire up. It's like a basic carb system with a jet and needle at the end of the long tube. Now I am going to do a full overhaul and cleaning. Enjoy your day.
Great Cook Stove. I can't wait to really cook on it. My Channel Name? Well I am a Frank Zappa fan from back in the 80's. He taught me a lot about music. ZPD is short for Zapped. I also work on all kinds of projects. Electronics to Carpentry, Cars and whatever. I had to pick a final name and this is what I am sticking with. So, after all of that I did an open search to see what or if ZPD meant anything. It so happens that it also stands for The Zone of Proximal Development. A concept in educational psychology. It represents the space between what a learner is capable of doing unsupported and what the learner cannot do even with support. It makes sense. Have a Great Day.
@@maccabeus-everydaysurvival5828 Gas can be used in an emergency but it is way more explosive and will dirty up the stove internals. There is a video out there of a guy testing other fuels including kerosene. White gas is the best and safest. I bought two gallons yesterday.
