1:22:38 - Just to clear some stuff up. This is moments after a discussion on how great John Danaher is (which I agree), but it was about a jiu jitsu practitioner who not only has never fought MMA, but never has even competed in sport jiu jitsu. Moments later, Pete Sell says that Marc Laimon "never did anything himself" - He was a jiu jitsu competitor with not only a win over Ryron Gracie, but wins over Dean Lister, Jeff Monson, and Chris Brennan all in the same day. "You're an expert swimmer who's never been in a pool" isn't an accurate statement, because Marc was a jiu jitsu competitor brought in as a jiu jitsu coach. If that's the case, the same could be said about their own coach Ray Longo who also has never had an MMA fight, despite competing in his respective sport. Marc Laimon and Matt Serra were never about to fight. Marc "getting called out of the carpet and didn't answer" is also not true. Matt Hughes kept trying to get them two to grapple, Marc said he would, Matt Serra said he wouldn't and told Hughes that he's not his pet monkey and walked away. What spectators and fans of the show when it was on may not have realized (and apparently most of the fighters on the season), Marc and Royce have trained together for an extensive amount of time, didn't get along after, and there was a jiu jitsu rivalry among himself and the Gracie family back in the day. Why it came off as a shock that Marc was happy that Matt Hughes beat Royce Gracie is beyond me. But again, if they were upset that Marc had an opinion on a result of a fight, then they should also tell Ray Longo never to discuss MMA fight outcomes either. Autism and Marc Laimon also should never be in the same sentence.
