This is one of my biggest problems with this game It is so much faster than real life especially on the tighter tracks like Monaco and Singapore and it’s such a pain in the bum
@@carsonf1 Just to get this straight, this technique is used once corner entry is complete and exit is to commence. It reduces the likelihood of understeer when turning out of the corner by inducing the rear to rotate due to the sudden acceleration application.
Thanks Champion, I'm waiting for more tips, I wonder how to start a race well and quickly, I drive without assists at all, and I can't figure out how it works.
Just what i was searching for! these tips are so informative and maybe i can finaly gain my speed nack that i had in the previous games by using these informative videos, im like 1,5 sec from the esport guys when i was peaking like only 0,5 last game
So for tyre wear I like to take the worst tire % and divide by the number of laps after at least 5 laps. I have an approximate tyre wear for every track but some drivers have different wears. For fuel you got to set it up before the race. I do 5 laps at 0.0 fuel and see the change. Then add fuel based on change per lap. There isn't much you can do about tyre wear and fuel during a race so I don't look at it.
This is something that became super obvious to me in 23 as well. Looking at the fastest guys, they'd always jump to somewhere between 50-80% depending on specifics. Seemed crazy at first but makes a lot of sense.
@@carsonf1 oh man, if your free Saturdays 6pm you can race - we also have steward places and even team principal slots you can fill if you still wish to be apart of the communirt
Here's a tip that transformed racing games for me on controller: always point the joystick up when going straight. Don't leave it in the middle, push it upwards against the edge. Then when you get to corners, turn by pushing up and right/left, so your joystick follows the circle that it's in. So much easier to micro adjust this way instead of trying to be really delicate with your thumb.
When you inflate a tire, the tire will become warm because as you are adding pressure, heat will increase. However the system then equalizes to the outside environment and the tire cools off. Lowering tire pressures in tires while driving increases sidewall flexing and friction which generates more heat in the tire. So lower pressures generally will heat the tire more.
@@carsonf1 @carsonf1 So what you're saying is, lower pressured tyres creates more friction than higher pressured one and in turn, increases the tyre temps?
@@EnigmaticAlias generally i would say yes. Lower tire pressure creates more heat and tyre temps. I guess if a tire was completely flat it would have way less grip and therefore less friction would be generated becuase the car would be going slower around corners.
Yeah. Seems like it depends heavily on the track. The C2 is behaving closer to softs because it is pretty close in grip to softs so it is having higher tire wear than last year.
@@carsonf1 ok 👌 What do you think about AI this year? I personally think that the, are way too fast on the straight (even though I drive low wing) and have crazy exits out of corners. I have to use my whole battery almost on every straight to not get overtaken again. The ERS system before was so much better.... it's also not realistic to regain 50% battery in like 3 corners, that's also stupid
@@trymakerYes I agree. Ai seems fast in a straight line and a bit slower on corner entry. But that was the case at some tracks last year. ERS generally seems less effective this year. It recharges quicker but is less powerful. Hard to know how realistic that is.
Thanks! Yes, i will keep releasing stuff for F1 24. I don't make RU-vid vids about everything I know because I try and keep it within WOR Esports. But I will make videos about lots of things.
Oh man this couldn't have come at a better time. I've spent all of this week trying to figure out how to reduce tyre wear while still keeping good lap times. Came will all kinds of theories and stuff mainly used Telemetry tool by IkoRein and made use of the math channels tool but I didn't even think of checking surface Temps. One of the issues I've been having is Rear tyres having too much wear. Finally, I wanted to ask what telemetry software do you use. Thanks again Carson much appreciated
Thanks. You can also watch my other video on driving style and tire wear. Usually it is any understeer or oversteer mistake that leads to higher tire wear. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-axrIJDOvkfY.htmlsi=tnE1nGZ0ziW_APIT
