When you inflate a tire, the tire will become warm because as you are adding pressure, heat will increase. However the system then equalizes to the outside environment and the tire cools off. Lowering tire pressures in tires while driving increases sidewall flexing and friction which generates more heat in the tire. So lower pressures generally will heat the tire more.

@@EnigmaticAlias generally i would say yes. Lower tire pressure creates more heat and tyre temps. I guess if a tire was completely flat it would have way less grip and therefore less friction would be generated becuase the car would be going slower around corners.
Yeah. Seems like it depends heavily on the track. The C2 is behaving closer to softs because it is pretty close in grip to softs so it is having higher tire wear than last year.
@@carsonf1 ok 👌 What do you think about AI this year? I personally think that the, are way too fast on the straight (even though I drive low wing) and have crazy exits out of corners. I have to use my whole battery almost on every straight to not get overtaken again. The ERS system before was so much better.... it's also not realistic to regain 50% battery in like 3 corners, that's also stupid
@@trymakerYes I agree. Ai seems fast in a straight line and a bit slower on corner entry. But that was the case at some tracks last year. ERS generally seems less effective this year. It recharges quicker but is less powerful. Hard to know how realistic that is.
