They Workout Each Week Together, They can Experimentally Try to Play with a Strictly Fixed First Set Team, All The Substitution Playerts Should Mandatory Play Second Set, Players from First Play in Third Set , Eventually Fourth Set again with The Players from Second Set , Fifth Set The Coach Chooses All Star Teams, also have The Right to Make Substitutions. This Would: 1.Increase All Players Motivation, During the Match, Also During The Week 2.Reduce Pressure in a Team and HeadCoach 3.Would Reduce Injuries, because of the equal distribution Power in a Match ,and The Chance For Hyper Creatine, ATF Recovery 4.The Audience Should Appreciate to See All The Players, Also on TV Broadcast ! 5.Players Parents, Would be Happier to See More Collective Team Efforts Environment. In School Conditions or Preparatory 12 Kids Above Play, They Should Mandatory, Get Substition After Serve, Each Kid To Have a Complete Rotation of Play. All the Best !

In terms of best setters and straight setting, it is between Christensen and Sekita. But Christensen is a generational talent! For Ishikawa, he is in the prime of his athletic career and this could be his last push for dramatic improvements in his game. Which is hard to imagine since he is already such a well-rounded player that is above average in most things concerning volleyball. You made great points that Team Chemistry will determine whether the entire team evolves together or Yuki can be relegated to a flex player when he is struggling. In my opinion, in the Italian league, Yuki's best role so far is as a second or 3rd option on offense. However, when he gets HOT, he goes OFF and can take over sets. It was unfortunate that Yuki had such a great run the last year in the qualifiers and VNL but struggled during the Olympics. He is usually such a high efficient player but when he struggles, it is so noticeable! Glad to see him secure that MVP recently! Great content!

I believe this is an aspect of the game that should not be lost. I have only been watching volleyball for a few months or so; but it’s my favorite sport for now.
@DEFIB7
@DEFIB7 День назад
Here's my opinion (as a normal volleyball fan/player and not some professional): Before I address each suggestion individually, I'll mention my philosophy when it comes to making rules for sports in general. There should only be one core rule, and the only rules to be added after that are to stop completely overpowered plays. The core rule of volleyball is you win a point every time the ball touches the opponent's floor. That's the one and only rule. But it's unfair how you could hold the ball for a long time, so we say you have to contact instantly. It's also overpowered to be able to touch the ball twice in a row, or more than three times per side, so we ban those. It's also overpowered to be able to launch the ball at Mach Jesus to a spot 300 feet outside the court where no one can get it, so we add out of bounds lines. We only make rules to stop things that are overpowered. So, to address each point individually: 1) 15 point sets / 7 set games: The paragraph above only refers to rules of gameplay, not rules of format, so this point doesn't relate to that. I do not like how one team could get a big lead at the start, and the set is basically guaranteed theirs in a 15-point set. In a 25-point set, there's time for the other team to come back, and that makes it more exciting. When the team I'm rooting for is down 2-7 in a 25-point set, I'm still fiery and cheering for them. But when they're down 2-7 in a 15-point set, I lose all my energy because hope is basically completely lost, and watching the rest of the set play out is just sad instead of exciting. 2) Always play all 5 sets: For the sake of TV airing and standardizing game lengths, this makes sense. However, I don't really care about getting volleyball on TV, so I'd rather it stay as it currently is. This one is just personal preference. 3) Removing overhead passing: overhead passing is not overpowered, and thus it shouldn't be removed, following my philosophy mentioned above. Additionally, I strongly disagree that service runs and service error runs "ruin" the flow/feel of the game. Service runs add more emotion, and service error runs don't really change the emotion. I also don't like the argument that it makes rallies more common. The reason I find women's volleyball boring to watch is because rallies are so common. Rallies are boring when they happen every point. Rallies are awesome and cool when they are rare, because they stand out as a "holy shit it's still up!" thing. On top of this, it completely ruins the game balance. Sideout being easier than breaking is a core mechanic in the game balance. Increasing rallies means making sideout closer to equal value of breaking. If we ban float serves, we again decrease equalize the balance of sideout and breaking and I believe that ruins the game balance because it makes any given point more of a 50/50 on who will take it. The game flows better when alternating sides have an advantage. 4) Tipping: I can start to understand this argument, but I would like to see how players and teams adapt over the next 5 years first. If in 5 years it becomes arguably overpowered, then we can make this rule change. But right now, the offensive usage of tips has recently evolved, and defense has not gotten the chance to match. I want to give it time to see if defense can counter it, or see if it truly is overpowered. 5) Setting double calls: I am 100% in favor of getting rid of the double call on sets. Following my philosophy earlier, not only is doubling not overpowered, it's actually WORSE to double. We don't ban sloppiness, we let the quality of the game force players into not being sloppy instead. And when a player does make the occasional sloppy mistake, it's not our job to stop the play. Let his teammates bring out their athlete potential to fix their teammate's mistakes. We don't make it illegal to shank a pass, right? We let the teammates sprint off court to fix their teammate's mistake. 6) Net touches: This seems reasonable. I would be ok with letting those stay legal as long as it doesn't interfere with the play.

I think passing and serving is the best its ever been. It was really hard to finally make the coaches understand that an agressive serve needs to be practiced well and often to be perfected not just a privilage to the best players… I think trying to make rules to cater towards dumming down our game isnt the way to go other sports dont do it and we shouldnt either

I think one change to eliminate injuries caused by landing on opposing players is to make stepping on the center line a violation. With the current rule it is only a violation when your entire foot crosses the center line, but even a part of your foot being in the opponents landing space is enough to cause an injury. This rule change also prevents spikers and blockers from jumping too close to the net, which may extend rallies.
@de44dva
@de44dva День назад
maybe they can extend the net to the ground. If you hit the net then it's wrong. If there is a physical barrier, they might also try harder not to touch it.
@bgrl6422

I like the old net rule and banning tipping is necessary at this point because pros have been abusing it so much. Format changes for regular season could be a good idea as well, though that is more on individual leagues than FIVB.

unintentional touches on the net are not a problem, it is just when someone goes for a spike and falls into the net or dispacles it. But would be bad to add something subjetictive to the referee and we could have the same problem as the double touch rule

I see no problems that NEED changing in the game. I could definitely enjoy a game with more, shorter sets and with no setting or net errors. So I approve of the excitement those changes would bring. I'd say that tipping and overhead passing are core parts of the game, so I'd hate to see those leave.

Lots of good ideas! If only the top of the net was not allowed, players could "overjump" and use the bottom of the net to stay on their side. Should the new rule disallow that?

They're lacking of taller players, that's for sure. They have to be at their absolut best against the major teams to stand a chance. But they should'have win against Italy in the last Olympics, and against France in last World Championnship. They're not believing they can win, that's the main flaw.

in the recent olympics, ishikawa had really great games and really average ones. nishida was the most consistent attacker in the olympic season imo. when these two function normally, with yamamoto and sekita playing their usual, they're at their best. the other players are great all-rounders so they can be in any lineup. otsuka, Kai, ran etc. they have to block more as well. their most frustrating losses from the olympics were down to them being blocked more and blocking less than the opposite team

Someone made a review of his matches from he was playing in the Italian League and before his injury he was doing good there with his serves but it wasnt his fault perse that he couldn't play like he always but it was more his setter who couldn't adapt to him which is weird like your team can have a play style but you are supñlsed to change the timing of you to put the ball to each player, of course easier said than done
