This looks pretty good, although I have to wonder how often the woodshed roof collapses? I mean you would not build such a steep roof if you did not get lots and lots of snow.

@@ArmouryTerrain I was thinking about that when putting on the creeping roof foliage too...like man you got to clear that stuff off or you're going to get rot. Oh to be a carefree miniature person who does things just because they look cool

Very nice diorama, congratulations ! I watch your RU-vid channel from the south of France 😊 Where did the rails and the wagon come from ? What are the different "gravel" to make the soil ? Thank you !
@hacknslashcrafts8733
@hacknslashcrafts8733 11 дней назад
Thank you for watching, and hello from the States! The rails and wagon are 3d printed from these assets: www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-mine-railway-and-miner-carts-228221. If you don't have access to a resin printer, "O" scale model train track would be pretty close. The gravel mix is from Geek Gaming Scenics, their main shop is out of the UK so I don't imagine shipping would be too bad to France (www.geekgamingscenics.com/)

Love the end result. Very spooky and creepy. While I like the idea of a tree in a graveyard producing poisonous apples the tree you made appears to have been dead for a long time. The apples looked like out of place christmas ornaments as opposed to something that actually grew on the tree. If you wanted to do a tree that produce poisonous apples you would need to do a lot of smaller, thinner branches. If you didn't want to take the time to make smaller branches all over the tree you could still make most of it dead with just a couple of lower branches still alive and producing fruit.
@hacknslashcrafts8733
@hacknslashcrafts8733 19 дней назад
That's a really thoughtful critique, thank you. Hit the nail on the head with the Christmas ornament thing - more branches would probably really have helped the "creepy but not long-dead" feeling

It works a treat. The tines do bend away from the thing you're texturing if it's narrow; another viewer suggested a lice comb and it's been on my to-do list to try it.

I really like the way this turned out - I especially love your ground texture. Something to think about if you need thin yet strong wood beams- use bamboo skewers. They come in a variety of sizes and are very strong. I understand that you were using pre-bought pieces on the wagon, but if you were to make one from scratch, the cooking fire would be in a metal brazier, stone does not travel well. Overall this does look great and I love the added story details this would add to a city layout.
