I bought the two sizes wheel chock to see which was the one that better fit my needs. I kept one and I return one. They NEVER gave the refund. They just gave me the run around for over three months. Till now still no refund. Good product but the humans are thieves. buy something else.
I like the controls, but answer me this. What is the purpose for installing them. What do they accomplish, or, why would I want to remove my stock controls??
@@jfisher99999nice. I’m looking at getting a cobra of some sorts. Closest one near me that ain’t trashed but not 10K + is an 02 GT that’s been 01 cobra swap. Clean title and the car is overall clean with nice parts just needs some paint work which I can do. Think FBO (Including AC delete/electric water pump), 98 cams, ported mani, and E85 I can possibly hit 350whp?
Hi,I have this mine n my v rod 2005 looks good but it’s not loud for me,I’ve checked to see there is no silencer to take out,I be ordered CFR mufflers it’s came today but it won’t fit on this headers they are 2 in 1,now I need stock headers and I don’t know where to get one
Looks pretty sharp, I like the color! I put 2" spacers, 3" front lift, 1.5" rear lift and 35" tires on my 2013. I have the rare 6.2 L motor in there, straight piped it and went full blackout. She is deadly!
How I understand the OZ tunes is that it's similar to the factory in that it's able to make adjustments on the fly. The factory tunes pull and give timing and fuel to adjust to the fuel , load, etc. I think that OZ has made their tune similar in that it's capable of doing the same adjustments as the factory can on the fly.
From what I've seen the power is right where it should be if not a bit higher than most for what is done to the car. Stock heads, stock 98 Cobra cams, no port work
@@jfisher99999I just realized you have lower compression than stock, those are actually really good numbers for the compression you have and not having any port work or bigger cams. I’m impressed!
Dude that’s a beautiful looking cobra and engine bay! I also have a 96 cobra I just got done doing full bolt ons, I’m just waiting to finish my street tune after I fix my over heating issue. How hard was it to do a c-head swap? I also plan on doing a c-head swap, I already have some 01 cobra heads I will be sending to get ported polished and built with all new stiffer springs, valves, and some cams meant for higher rpm and boost
The C head’s aren’t too difficult, but I probably wouldn’t have done them if they weren’t already on the built motor I bought. You really want the DB or DC casting heads if you’re going to do all the work to swap them. Those are the 04+. It all depends on how you want to do coolant crossover, intake mani and fuel rails
@@jfisher99999 what’s the difference between 01 cobra heads and 04 cobra heads? The only difference I know of is the 4 threaded spark plug inserts vs the 9 threaded spark plug inserts and I know that can be fixed with new 9 threaded inserts
@@petrolhead8851 that is the main difference, but I've also read where the internal coolant passages were revised also: "Some '99-'01 Cobra owners reported a "ticking/pinging" noise coming from the driver-side head of their cars. This was due to insufficient cooling around the number 6, 7, and 8 cylinders that allowed the valves to overheat and therefore seat improperly. Ford remedied the situation by issuing a TSB to remove and replace the affected heads with a version that featured altered coolant flow." I think as long as you're running a head cooling mod you should be fine with the earlier heads.
@@jfisher99999 ok I see! I do remember reading about that as well, I had forgot that they revised the coolant passages on the 04 cobras, 05 Marauders, and 05 aviators, but I was also going to say that as well, using a head cooling mod should keep the back of the heads happy
ended up being the fuel pump on it's way out. It's a 98 so it has that variable voltage fuel pump stuff. Previous owner installed a regular non variable voltage fuel pump in car and it was dying
Awesome videos, I have a 2014 Night Rod Special. I wanted to know if you have the OEM default tune? I also bought the DynoJet auto tune and I have been playing around with their tune packages, unfortunately I forgot to make a backup of the original tune before applying. Was hoping you may have it so I can restore back to factory tune if needed. Please let me know and keep up with the interesting videos !
Mines currently doing the same thing. 1998 Mustang GT, idles fine on start up and the first few minutes of driving. After a while, when I come to a stop the idle raises to 1.5k rpms. It would drop down very slowly but only to 900 rpms then slowly creep back up to 1.5k. Has a brand new fuel pump.
Super nice bike, one question, did you lower your bike? I see your front tubes are almost touching the reflector, because my bike has about a 3/4" gap from the reflector, and if so how does it ride lowered? Thanks in advance for your time.
appreciate it! It is not lowered. Factory ride height up front. I bought it used so I suppose someone before me could have dropped it, but I kept it where it was
Thanks for sharing your experience on this channel. I am thinking to get a vrod soon but I have very short. 5'5* with 27 inseam. Were you able to pull toe peg back(toward your body) as much as foot peg? My test ride was horrible due to my shortage to reach toe pegs.
yep, it ended up being my fuel pump. I knew I had an issue with fuel as my car would cut out completely going around turns and the car constantly trying to add fuel at idle. Turns out the car had an aftermarket 340lph non variable voltage pump that I think was on it's way out. Swapped out the pump and it took some run time but eventually started idling perfect
I have the exact same tension gauge. It is garbage. I suggest you get an accurate scale, like a postal scale, and test your gauge. You may be surprised. Mine registers 10 pounds at about the halfway point to where the gauge is marked 10 pounds
Ain't the V-Rod supposed to have around 120 HP bone stock? and here shows less than that even with stage 1 upgrades and tune. Mmh....Harley is lying to us.
