Its always a good day when you found a new and great reactor, and today i found your channel! came for the 86 reaction, will stick to the end and for more stories. Subbed!
And now the penny drops! What's crazier to realize is that Chalkboard with the Days marked on it from Ep 1 shows they knew the exact Date they would be sent out to die. Only reading the count hasn't changed is that the one to update it every day was killed at the end of Episode 1. 😢
In a previous episode, Lena starts a conversation with her friend Henrietta about what if there was some anomaly with a specific 86 and the devices they use. Henrietta says that they would cut open the head of that person and pop out their brain to study it. I think that is when Lena realizes that she shouldn't say anything about Shin's ability and the information that he has shared with her. If she told someone about what she has learned about the Legion they would: 1) Either totally ignore her, because they really don't want to know that the Legion will NOT end in two years 2) and/or want to know how she got this information and it would probably lead to something bad happening to Shin Lena is gradually realizing just how alone she is with what she believes and wants to do. Also, if you rewatch this episode, during their battle, there are images of people and the fireworks intertwined. These are basically the members of the Spearhead group that died during that battle. It really hits harder when you see their happy faces enjoying the fireworks and realize what it means.
Kaie’s death feels so swept under but then you realize that spearhead has been losing members since episode 1. The intro has two shots, one showing those lost who are standing in the red field, and the other which shows the survivors in front of the hanger.
Since pretty much nobody who watches the anime catches it, the scars on Anju's back spell out whore's daughter. Her father was an Alba and her mother was something else that I don't remember right now.
@@MijReacts this show has an incredible amount of detail you can catch on re-watches, especially if you've read the light novel, both mediums complement each other so well. there are videos by ctrlaltQQ that list some of them (part 1 covering episodes 1-11) I totally recommend watching them in your own time if not for a video. I know you're gonna love the rest of this show.
Since you mentioned romance, have you seen Horimiya, RE-LIFE, or Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (I assure you, despite the title, it is a romance and not eichi!)?
I never read the books or watched the first season so no idea whats what.. I have to say you kept yourself pretty composed during the unclothed scene 18:24 , there hasn't been as much "family loving" as I thought there would be yet, would you be my sister? kidding.. maybe 😅
She isnt an equal, they arent wrong or just being mean. They are just stating the fact she is clearly in a safe happy land where no one dies around her. While also not really having to do much to live. She does things that make it hard for her but nothing compared to what they have gone through the past 4-5 years of them fighting for their lives while mourning the ones that die.
I actually thought you might cry more in this episode I love your reactions I love seeing you smile I'm like hurry and watch the next one haha I love listening to your theories and comments
I wouldn't be shocked if Lena made a report and it just got dismissed as nonsense. She doesn't have a shred of proof. Also Annette telling her their likely research method would be to bring Shin to district 1 and remove his brain, means she can't really push the issue.
Lena is progressively getting more smooth and understanding of how things work with those around her since episode 3, she is highly intelligent and adaptive and I think the anime doesn't really highlight it until further down episodes, at this point she's been making lots of minor reports and asking for small stuff from the higher ups to help the 86 but disguised as a highly efficient soldier/commander that only cares about her career, also shout out to Uncle Jerome who's such a complex and underrated character in the anime ❤
Some added context: "Yobai" is a term for a person sneaking into the room of their love interest at night. And yes, having sex is implied. Kurena is flustered at the idea another girl may make such a bold move on Shin before she can confess.
