I love your stuff! Been looking everywhere to see how to get the sound achieved on "the curse" by Agnes Obel but to no luck😢 Now that would be a challenge! It uses strings and acoustics instruments but still sounds full and modern
i am Sound Designer is this Video is bad. He use the Vintage EQ. You can use the Brider VST, much better and free and exactly for this behaviour. He is not telling where to find the Tube EQ and what in general is this plugin is for ( don't think it is even in the Waves Ultimate Bundle which is use! It is one of IK Multimedia or UAD!). Then he uses a Limiter what you normally do never in the middle of the chain because it reduces frequencies and after it you have to push the Frequencies again. He is not using a A B Comparison which is really necessary for a Beginner! Therefor he say in this Track he dont use a Linear EQ but in my opinion this is necessay in every Electronic Track because the Bassline is a big Part of it. i saw enough. No useful Video!
I love alpha 9!!! This is incredible - one of the artists working with Above and Beyond should make this their like visual cover to a album or something for the actual song they produce....that would be creatively cool and shows how freakin' hard it is to come up with disorganized chaos of sounds into a pleasurable flow of music that we like. SO COOL!
@@Wemakedancemusicstudios you didnt do seo .. without doing this you cant grow your channel.i have a channel.and had face this before.i hired an expert she solved the problem and now my channel is improving and getting more views and subscriber
@@Wemakedancemusicstudios may I know where did you get that “string dark purple” sound ( at the beginning, the first string that you add) I couldn’t find that in string sound default in logic, I only got “epic cloud , spectral, and string box “ in the preset. Did you add that sound in a different application. Thank you very much ❤❤
Great content man! I have been looking for a channel like this that touches on progressive genres like this for so long. Despite typing in exactly “How to make classic progressive house” in the search bar, your videos don’t pop up in RU-vid’s search results; only the 3 irrelevant videos that their algorithm wants me to see. Had to find your channel by pure luck! YT’s search engine is terrible today.
Awesome, thank you! I know what favours video search, it is a game to get people to find us, its all about user retention and making long form videos makes this hard to retain over 25% of the long videos!
Said who? Maybe you where a part of the original progressive house movement coming from the uk in the mid 1990, it took a while before it reached Canada in 1996 to 2000, Sasha and digweed led the way with the Delta Heavy tour... I WAS THERE... its always been the cross between the groove of house music and the melodic aspect of trance on with i founded my record label @progressivegrooves in 2005
ITs all about perspective.... i started my journey in Electronic music in 1993 producing raves, Sasha and Digweed, Deep Dish and Fatboy slim came to visit the club i was running in 1999.... then i started my journey into production, yeah it might be a bit of a clickbait..
Tell me please should you master the finished AUDIO file or to master in the project? Does it have difference? I mean can this happen that when you master the finsihed AUDIO file then some instruments corrections might be needed like changing the volumes of some separate tracks? Or is it absolutely fine to master the finished AUDIO file like you do?
@oliverneverlandmusic8623 hello, as a genearl ule you should always leave the main output or Buss without compression, so you can have a clearer idea of the mix and have all intruments in the right place, the next step is to master the song from this uncompressed flat master, this leaves a lot more room and flexibility to the engineer or you to work on the overall feel you want for the song.
