Hi my friend, hope you're well. Thank you for your videos, they rare always so helpful and I always coming away learning a lot. Question, can you do a short video on how to get that typical Anjunadeep Electric Piano/Wurlitzer sound please? If it's one thing I'm failing at when it comes to music, it's this. My pianos always sound too bright, I'm looking for that deep compressed E.P. type of sound where the attack is barely noticeable from one chord to another. I also assume they're layered but I am also thinking I may not be using the right sound to begin with. Any help in this department would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your contribution to the growing bedroom music producer community, lol......

Hello Dan, yes i get the sound toy are talking about, the drowny piano / pad that is creating the mood in a ot of Anjunadeep track, i mainly use a pad preset on Sylenth with a high pass filter, you could also use a piano with a slow attack and a reverb then add a high pass filter so only the mid lows bello 1/2 K are going trought. The keys are also important, i found sharp (Blacks) are more in tune with this genre.

@@Wemakedancemusicstudios cheers mate, this helps a lot. I actually have Sylenth but have never thought of using a pad sound with a high-pass filter and then use that as keys, I'm going to try that in a minute. A lot of these sounds I'm trying to emulate are heavily compressed, they have the highs cut and have just the right amount of reverberation. Do you layer the sounds? For example, have one track playing the chords on a Sylenth pad patch and then a high-cut piano playing the same chords?

@danielbrown1724 this is an other good trick, use a pad and a piano leyered and buss them to a channel, then add compression on the channel to unify both sound, you could also apply the reberb signal on the buss post FX so the compressed sound get reverberated..

@@Wemakedancemusicstudios Would you mind if I sent you a few a short snippet of one of the tracks I"m working on right now? It's not your typical upbeat deep melodic Anjunadeep track that we've all come to know and love, however this track is more of an organic piece (similar to something you'd hear off an 'Explorations' compilation). It needs a lot of work on the chord production. I'm actually using the Vintage Electric Piano stock plugin that comes with Logic Pro X. Have you used this before? It really needs an update I tell you. It looks and sounds like a stock plugin that came out with eMagic's version of Logic circa 1992, LOL. The main thing I don't like about it though with no smooth transition from one chord to anotheris there's no attack option anywhere. The sounds are ok and emulates the Wurlitzer pretty well, however it sounds too dry (even with the Release all the way up) and there's no attack adjustments anywhere so when each chord hits, it's like someone is just pressing each chord as hard as they can on the 1 🙄🙄🙄. Anyway, I'm rambling.would like to get your opinion on the chord sounds. Also, how do I send you aa track. or at least a portion of it? Cheers, DB
