Emm I'm excited but maybe it's not a good idea to get this internal video from weibo and post it on RU-vid? It's for weibo viewers ( mainly Chinese) to cheer up or whatever....... now it's on RU-vid and everybody including their rivals'bot can see it....... I'm not worry about other contestants as top gymnasts are all quite nice, I'm worry about some toxic fans and unwanted stress on the athletes, they're just youngster. I'm a figure skating fan and saw many nasty things and toxic fans there, some athlete are so hurt mentally and some even got cyber bullied. Just want to protect the girls so that they can stay healthy and compete happily.
Why on earth is a gymnast doing a skill that they still need a spot for in their floor routine at this level? That's insane to me and makes me worried for these girls.
What is the point of their coaches standing in as spotters? They don’t even try to catch the gymnast when they fall. They just stand there and watch it happen.
@@singsongeric she’s had a groin injury for a while now.. last year she tried recovering but was sent to universiade before fully healing, which probably made it worse. at the beginning of the year she stated that she would continue training until the 2025 national games, and she was an alternate for guangxi at the national championships in april.
Is she and Zhang Yihan possibly also training the Silvas like Guan Chen Chen and Ou Yushan were for the 2020 Olympics? Those stuck landings were fire! Also, I'm confused by Qiu's second pass and ZYH's 3rd pass.
@@johnnyli4702 idk about qiu qiyuan because her pass has no connection value, but zhou yaqin does a triple twist punch front which has 0.2 connection value
According to China's selection mechanism this time, Qiu and Zhou Yaqin's previous World Championship medals have enabled them to qualify for the Paris Olympics early, and other girls will compete for the remaining spots. But Yihan also has a good chance of qualifying for the main selection, because she has a relatively strong vault, and she is also quite good at uneven bars and floor exercise.
My most hurtful floppings from China: 1. Cheng Fei 2008 VT and FX EF gold loosing combo; 2. Yao Jinnan 2011 BB AA, without the fall would be the 1st Chinese world AA champion of history; 3. Fan Yilin Tokyo 2020 UB EF, working hard to qualify as specialist by Cups to fall in the dismount and loose a medal.
Such beautiful beam workers. Their problem has always been the difficulty in vocabulary. I don’t see any US gymnast touching their artistry. This is the most vocab I’ve seen from them, even though some is repetitive. They’re going to make things interesting!
Unfortunately the code of points doesn’t reward artistry. The routines under the old 10.00 system though they lack the difficulty of the routines of today, they were beautiful to watch as there was also emphasis on the presentation of the routine. Nowadays it’s about making the routine as difficult as possible to get the highest possible SV and no emphasis on the presentation of the routine as a whole and the artistry suffers because of it. It’s really evident on floor where you can clearly see that there is no personality in the routine.
@@aussiesoccerchic I agree, but they are stepping up (a little) on their vocabulary. I watched their Olympic trials and girl just fell apart on bars. Again, they are beautiful to watch but there’s not much meat on the bone. One girl said that they don’t do certain skills because “their government will not reward that.” I found that a curious thing to say.
@@eddietucker7005 what a strange thing to say, but in some ways you’re right. Gymnasts now don’t perform a lot of the more difficult skills, because trying to connect these skills to others doesn’t contribute much to the overall SV and it means that it’s more beneficial to perform an easier skill and do that well than risk a fall with a harder skill.
