The amount of “MAEEEE” and “Diay waeon” I could hear while watching this 😂 I saw so many people welding stuff in CR with no mask or eye protection. Just raw dogging and squinting their eyes or half looking away. Glad to see this crew all looked like they had quality tools! Amazing build 🙌
Building a full build of a tiny home cabin requires careful planning, attention to detail, and a willingness to embrace creativity and innovation. By following these steps and investing time and effort into the construction process, you can create a cozy and functional retreat that provides comfort, convenience, and sustainability for years to come.
24:13 it’s A LU MI NI UM, NOT aluminum! and how can someone want to live in the jungle with all those spiders, snakes, creepy crawlies etc. eeeeeewwwwwwwwww!
I feel like over your life you could build a full house by adding new segments to the house for example turn that deck into a kitchen area and then build another deck
Amazing cabin. Something like this in the California mountains would be perfect. Im just curious if these plans could directly translate into something buildable/code complaint by a CA contractor. There are so many small plots of land with odd landscape that this would be perfect for.
Good job you worked your ass off lol now time to enjoy it , hey where is your property located at ? I’m from Costa Rica moved to California 42 years ago. , I used to live in the jungle in limon with my grandpa before I moved to LA looking at your vid brings back memories , I build the house in the jungle with my parents
I appreciate you sharing, and I find this to be inspirational. I can see that the location is comparable to mine in Kuching, Sarawak. No matter how much it costs to build the entire Cabit from the ground up, including the cost of the land... Because different places have different costs, it will vary in every way. Thank you once more for sharing this video, though. Bravo! 👍👍💯
Im from Costa Rica from the tropical rain forest part . I can tell this cabin is not built to last. termites in CR are sneaky and eat wood and concrete, difficult to control them when you are in the middle of the jungle, I wonder also how did he obtained permission to build in the middle of the forest…
The cabin is amazing Sasha I'm subscribed, hope to see other videos in this amazing place in Costa Rica, hope to visit this place in future, Hi from Italy
Tropical rain is quite strong and wind can blow in a lot of rain from the side. Since the front wall is quite high, I think it would have been better to extend the roof way more to the front to prevent rain hitting the glass windows at the front bottom. It's also a bit difficult to make everything waterproof since those windows need tiny gaps everywhere. Maybe difficult to maintain this structure in this kind of weather, but it looks pretty cool.
Someone had to jump back and film. When there wasn't a tripod I was behind the camera shooting and then I would get back to work. Besides trips to get materials I can promise you I was on site working the whole time. Some times I filmed them doing something as I was doing something else in the site prep area.
No other words to describe this built.... Just brilliant. The environment, location and the view... Wow factor. Is a place for healing..... Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful accomplishment, thanks for sharing! What are the building codes like in that area? I can't help but notice some of the solutions you created during construction (e.g., stair railing, lack of deck railing) wouldn't be possible in most U.S. counties.
absolutely sweet cabin! I'm curious though if those footings are deep enough considering the steep slope and the potential for significant bursts of rainfall.
