Some of my early videos are geared to people leaving Jehovah's Witnesses, which from my experience is a harmful dark cult masquerading as Christian, which I was born into. God in his great mercy liberated me in 2020. I share my story to help navigate faith after leaving. Hold onto this: God is real and so is his Word, but the those men are liars.
They can call it anything they want, they can even claim it is the most accurrate even though it is not. They add, subtract and claim it is the same because thier words mean the same. They do not. The point my video makes is that this translation is heretic and has been deliberately altered with words added, omitted or obscured to fit JW theology. So calling it ‘Holy Scriptures’ which many people would not realise even is a Bible is apt and in my opinion, totally deliberate. They know its not worthy of being called Holy Bible. Sorry you missed that and went to all this trouble but thank you. It doesn’t make the New World Translation anything other than a demonic free masonic mess of a translation.

I am three years since reading both of Ray Franz’s books and becoming fully awake to the fact that my whole life spanning parts of 7 decades, has all been based on lies. Thankfully, I did not lose my longing for relationship with God so I have kept reading the Bible and for 2 years have been included in a small online group of Christians where I have gotten some wonderful education about the history of Christianity, early church fathers and how Christianity did not die out after the first century. This was exciting to me because it opens up nearly 2,000 years of teaching that builds faith in God!😊 I have grown these last few years and attend online sermons on Sundays. I have a very dear elderly PIMI family member who depends on me. As long as that circumstance exists, I wish to avoid being DF. When that changes I will be seeking to join a local church. For now, I depend on Christians who have a ministry on RU-vid. I am grateful, Samantha, for you sharing your personal experiences of the Holy Spirit operating in you. Thank you for sharing these. Everything was created by Jesus, nothing came into existence without him. (Col 1:15-20) NOTHING. So he can’t have been created. If creating everything doesn’t qualify him to be recognised as God you have a problem. A big spiritual problem and lack of gratitude. He made you and everything you love & treasure. Who has bewitched you?? JW org?? Angels worship Jesus yet they are higher beings than us. (Hebrews 1:6) Many OTHER scriptures clearly call him God. (Hebrews 1:8 vs Psalm 45:6 ) He identified himself as God. (Isaiah 44:6 vs Revelation 1:17,18 ) To insist on downgrading Jesus to archangel or a created being is thinking influenced by the enemy. And a dangerous course to take. It is blasphemy! So I take it you don’t identify as Christian. Because salvation is in Christ Jesus, the only name given to us by which to be saved under the sun (Acts 4:12). Most importantly your post highlights that without Holy Spirit reading the Bible is a confusing mess at best. And none of the weird and wonderful translations you cite are in common use - perhaps for good reason!! I wish you well and pray the blinding placed on your mind by the false teachings of Watchtower are removed.
@@faithhopefuture The starting assumption is wrong. Jesus was the first BORN of all creation (v15), the Word who was WITH God. The Greek doesn’t say creation was ‘by’ him… the nearest equivalent English is ‘in’ him. This is in harmony with the rest of the Scriptures… we must worship (‘latreou’) ONLY the Father, YHWH. He is the only one in Genesis who ‘bara’ (create)… the Word was a master worker in making (‘asa ’) everything. -1 Tim 2;5 John 17;3 John 4;22 1 Cor 11;3 Rev 4;11. and many Psalms credit only YHWH (Yehovah) with Creation and being ‘God’. Don’t hide the true God… He is the One who gave us life… the Trinity hides Him.

God is worshipped in truth and spirit, not in writing. I associate with whoever is doing God's will, for the Bible says it, and God is not partial. Nobody is perfect and most evangelical religions are doing the best they can. I identify myself as simply as Christian, just as the first century Christians did. Jehovah's Witnesses may view my baptism into their religion as something different or extra than what the Bible defines it. I'm still considered as one "of them" according to their written records and I have no desire to resign a position that is not being filled. I'm not their agent and I don't do recruiting door to door to an organization that will potentially profit from my volunteered free time for "non-profit" donations. They are profiting largely alright ! If they decide that I'm inactive, that's their opinion but not necessarily God's opinion. The same can be said if they decide to "remove" me ( previously known as disfellowshipping ) from their organization, still doesn't necessarily mean they have the power to remove me from God's grace and favor. It is through Jesus Christ and not the governing body or the body of elders that I reach a good standing with God. I need to ask Jesus for forgiveness and not the elders of the Watchtower and Tract Society of Pennsylvania. The JW organization preaches that you will only be in good standing with God if you are in good standing with their religion. They have placed themselves in the same position of Jesus who has ALL THE AUTHORITY IN HEAVENS AND ON EARTH. Jesus is The Head of The Congregations and when the Bible says that Jesus HAS ALL THE AUTHORITY, it means that there's nothing left to anyone else. Jesus is the King and it is through Him we can enter into a relationship with God. Jehovah's Witnesses try to divide, question and challenge the absolute DIVINE AUTHORITY Jesus has, monopolize it and control you, so you won't go anywhere else. WE MUST NOT ALLOW OTHERS TO CONTROL OUR FAITH. Test the spirit and prove to yourself if the teachings truly come from God. Keepsake your ability to think intelligently and reasonably based on the Bible laws and principles. It is possible with the help and inspiration of the Holy Spirit, but you MUST have faith. Jesus promised we would never be alone. He gave us the comforter, the helper, the revealer of secrets - The Holy Spirit. We don't need anything else, but everything else was added on to us through religion. Religion is a discipline, not a form of worship. It was instituted for our benefit and not the other way around.
Hint: The Jehovah Witnesses say they don't believe in the trinity, yet their own "New World translation Bible" mentions the trinity! (Matthew 28:19) Yep word for word trinity is mentioned in their own Bible! I'm a Jehovah Witness, a saved one!!! (John 3:7)
The word Bible means little books . Would you find that word in the Scriptures? No , what you will see is words like book , scroll. The Bible clearly states that before humans appeared on the earth only Jehovah's family of witnesses existed in the universe. The first angel to leave the family was the angel who became "Satan" the first apostate. Today either one is serving Jehovah or the adversary Satan. There is no sitting on the fence.
I am an ex elder who disassociated about a year ago. The governing body of Jehovah’s Witnesses modified the Bible to fit their belief system. They erased John chapter 8:1-11 and they added the word “other” to Colossians 1-16. They are also one of the most controversial religions who protect child predators,just look at the news. They also have many failed Armageddon prophecies like 1914 and most popular 1975 in which they deny. There watchtowers say otherwise. That’s why they are erasing their history and telling their members if you have a watchtower pre 2013 burn it. This cult will soon fall.
Fake bible? Interesting…Let’s see how Christians have deliberately altered the Hebrew Scriptures well before any translations made by christian sects shall we? 1. Isaiah 9:6. Christians use this verse to prove that the holy messiah was/is divine BUT they do so by using dishonest translations of the original Hebrew. In Christian bibles the verse is translated as: “For a child shall be born to us, a son shall be given to us; and the government shall rest on his shoulders; and his name will be called Wonderful counselor, mighty God, eternal father, Prince of Peace.” This is a dishonest translation from the original Hebrew. All the verbs in this passage have been changed from the perfect tense to the future tense. Every other occurrence of these same verbs in these same forms in the Christian Bible are translated in the perfect tense. So why only here are they rendered in the future tense? 2.) Psalm 2:12 “Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little.” Hebrew translation of Psalm 2:12 “Arm yourselves with purity lest He be angry and ye perish from the way when His wrath is kindled but a little.”The Hebrew word for purity which can also be found in psalm 18:21, 18:25, 18:9 looks and is pronounced very much like the Aramaic word for son but is not translated as such in the Christian bible except for its occurrence in psalm 2:12. While there is some Aramaic language in the Hebrew bible, there is none, none at all, in the entirety of the Psalms. It’s all in Hebrew. So why would there be just one Aramaic word used in a text that entirely written in Hebrew? The answer is somebody is dishonestly translating scripture to buttress a theological narrative. The proof of this is the Hebrew occurrence of son 5 verses earlier 2:7. In psalm 2:7 (another verse often quoted by Christians via the gospel of Matthew) the Hebrew word son is used (Ben not the Aramaic word Bar) and is translated as such in the Christian Bible. As to “kiss”, the Hebrew word is nashku. It is the command form of neshek which is a homonym in Hebrew. It can mean to kiss or to arm similar to English there and their or aunt and ant. Guess which translation the clever Christians used? 3.) Psalm 22:16. Supposedly explicitly describes the crucifixion of Christ ...dogs have encompassed me, a company of evil doers have enclosed me. They pierced my hands and my feet. BUT in the original Hebrew it doesn’t say this. King David is speaking in the first person about himself. The last part says in Hebrew “ like a lion my enemies are at my hands and my feet” In the Christian Bible they have deleted “like a lion” replacing it with “they” and add the verb “pierced” Everywhere else in the Bible where this phrase “like a lion” occurs in the Hebrew Bible (psalm 7, Psalm 17, Numbers 23,24, Ezekiel 22, Isaiah 38:13, ) it is translated as such in the Christian Bible. Why all of a sudden in this passage is it translated as “pierced”? They call it Bible here in Norway. We got the newest print from some JW we witnessed for this late winter. It is NOT a Bible, it is so twisted. We call it “the grey book” . We keep it, because we know they will change the text over and over again and it is good to know what their text says before you try to witness to them. But even this book that has been changed to fit the Watchtower, can’t keep up with all the lies from the Watchtower.

Have you ever heard of the ASV, LSB, LSV, etc? There are many English translations that use the divine name. The difference is that they only have the divine name where the tetragrammaton is found in the manuscripts. The NWT inserted it unjustly in places the tetragrammaton isn't found in BOTH the OT and the NT. For instance, can you provide me a Hebrew manuscript that has the tetragrammaton in Psalm 35:23?
No bible is right all twisted and not the word of god in any shape or form! There are so many books removed from the bible! How can you follow a book that has had chapters removed from it. Modern day religion messed with it! And added what they wanted to it, just like the jehovahs witnesses all as bad as each other! Wake up people do your research!
Funny how no other book gets disputed and questioned as much as the Bible… sure dismiss it but when I see what it contains and its effects - I am more than convinced its God’s Word. It is alive and sharper than any two edged sword dividing soul and spirit. Did you know you have a spirit part and indeed are a spirit? One attached to an earth body? The argument this woman makes is very silly. The NWT is not a "fake" Bible. A theologically motivated translation? Yes. A deliberate mistranslation of some passages? Yes. A faithful translation of the original languages? No. But is it a "fake" Bible? No. JWs, as individuals, may be very nice or awful-it all depends on the individual. The problem is with JW beliefs and their NWT. Here is one example. Go look at John 14:14 in your Kingdom Interlinaer and figure out what word the NWT.

It seems that sin of NWT team lies in their disbelief in trinity. Proof that they are wrong can be found in Acts 4:10, John 2:19-21, and Romans 8:11. To be honest, I can not see what you are seeing. It is clear that GOD raised him. Does not the fact that Acts says simply GOD, not God the father make you ponder? Does not Acts 4:10 make clear distinction between GOD and Jesus Christ of Nazareth? Good explanation for John 2:19-21 can be found in John 10:17,18: " The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life-only to take it up (Strong's 2983: (a) I receive...) again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” If you wish me to elaborate it I will, but it seems quite clear to me.Finally, Romans 8 actually say: "The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you.
