DARPA also funded projects relating to Transhumanism! As the saying goes all wars are banker wars. We go to war to kill, steal, drill and bill for profit! As a nation we have been at war for over 200 years. The military & Israeli created the internet. Julian Assange & Edward Snowden warned us of the now increasing cyber tools and weapons that can and will be connected to the digital currency!

While we were aware of the Wexner/Gates/Epstein Human Trafficking Investigations it was just a few years later that they were funding this type of research at OSU and other colleges & universities across America!
When we have The Koch Brothers shutting down our public schools & forcing everyone on line and our economy collapsing ....leading to a digital currency....we are in deep trouble!
As long as there is a Bill Gates and the Global 1% including The Rockefeller Foundation you must be held accountable for addressing the massive weaponization of medicine and the reality that Transhumanism = Eugenics is a very well known history in England. The technology is amazing and we need it EXCEPT when used to replace humanity and workers as the Globalist and America is rolling out. When it comes to Theology there are thousands of different bibles . To use this technology against a persons will as with mental illness and involuntary Civil Commitment Laws is a reminder of the experiments of NAZI, Germany. Eisenhower and the Pentagons Brain is a historical reality!
Where was Stanley Hauerwas? An event involving Duke faculty members should definitely have included him. It would have been very important to underscore the point that someone might be skeptical about democracy without being an authoritarian or a populist.
Super interview… all of it. It challenges us to open doors to relationships with those around us. In doing so we can have meaningful conversations that are attractive to the non-churched and the anti-church. These conversations, with whispers of good news, may invite them to ask questions or even come to know the God we love. But we should not approach relationships with people with an agenda, but rather with questions and an open heart. Then the conversation dives into a discussion of specific sins. The bottom line? Sin breaks community with those who God loves. These are the people who we are to love as well.
I haven't read the book. The 1st 20 minutes she doesn't say much. So-she is saying that sin is traumatizing and results in disconnection. Sin disconnects us from each other and from God. Our true nature is Oneness with God and one another. God is not limited, rather the definition of diversity, as exampled in Jesus' love.
I have heard Jonah Goldberg and now David Brooks respond to Patrick Deneen. The former attacks, raging against Deneen without giving examples or dealing with his books, the latter romanticizes about a liberal creed. Their differing responses reveal the bankruptcy of a liberalism without Nature and nature's God.
Helpful, well explained and important advice. Relational stress must be managed and we are at a major shift stage. Personal and institutional wisdom and discernment is crucial to do better than barely accommodate disagreement. Charismatic individuals can be convincing and can hinder more retiring personalities, thus good, carefully nuanced, creative outcomes/ solutions can be the casualties. In other words, if we don't prepare the ground well, as was pointed out by John, taking the time and making the long game investment, much of value, can be missed. I would add that we miss the blessings. Gen Z are begging for good examples and our retreat now would be disastrous, though as a Christian, I trust God for better because there is grace and mercy, borne out, in part, by work and discussions of this kind. The Trinity Forum host some respectful and probing interviews. My thanks to you both.💐
I am incredibly grateful for your truth telling. Please keep using your talents to enlighten the public and help others to learn how to be truly Christian.
Could not love her more! Just drinking in everything she writes, everything she says, in every interview and podcast...thank you so much, Kate...your wisdom is mind-blowing. And your faith.
Thou shalt not #kill. (Exodus 20:13) / Thou shalt not [be complicit in #genocide]. More than 14,500 #children killed in #Gaza. The latest #death toll stands at 35,287 #Palestinians and 1,139 people killed in #Israel since October 7. (2024.05.07)
Patrick Deneen is a true genius. We need a million of him, articulate conservatives comprising half of the professorate. He writes the clearest diagnoses of why people make so many mistakes, in their lives and in the market, and how liberalism misunderstands human nature.
Oh this was a beautiful conversation with Philip Yancey! Such a beautiful reminder of how we need to face hardship and death for others and ourselves. Philip thank you for sharing yourself with us! I have ordered the book Undone and now to get your memoir! May the Lord be gracious to you as you journey forward with Parkinson's
