You're very talented with hair!!! I'm still a bit confused so I'll watch it a few more times. I'm not a fan of hair this short, but it's not about what I want. My roommate wants a cut this short so I bought some clippers, but he wants the top shorter than this. I do have a question though. His hair was brown and now is completely white. When I spray it, it dries within a minute or two. Is this because it's grey, cuz I don't remember it doing this when it was brown. I have a hard time keeping it wet.
So I got too scared to go past the trim part but my hair is so fine that I don't have layers and they don't do much for me anyway. BUT I trimmed it and it worked! I tried a different video from someone else a few years ago and it failed so I was nervous to try today but your instructions were so clear. Thank you so much!
Thank you for this video. However, I have only just found you. I need some assistance with scissor and comb holding - please can you send me a link if you have already done one of these. Thanks Sharyn
This might be dumb but is it possible to do the top blending part without scissors? We don’t have any right now but I got my boyfriend a whole new clipper/trimmer set with a bunch of sizes so is it possible to use different size clips to do a similar thing?
I watched ur videos. How u color with black hair? Is it safe to use from L’Oréal or sally beauty cause I used one from sally and my hair get dry good thing I used monat product
Thanks for this I've been cutting my own hair for awhile but I really don't get the blending part, now I can understand how it goes. I copied your diagram if you don't mind. Cheers!
Thank you! Very clear tutorial. I have to make a slight adjustment on the back of my husband's hair to accommodate a cowlick on one side of the nape. When he gets professional cuts, they cut symmetrically. Unfortunately, when his hair dries it looks like someone took a bite out of the bottom edge! 😂 To avoid this, I cut that spot dry without combing downward (it grows horizontally there) so I know it will look right even though I'm actually leaving an isolated long section. This works well for us, so now he wants me to do the whole haircut! Thanks for the lesson! 😊
Awesome cutting instructions! Thank you so much! Just so you know, the occipital bone is where the nape is, starting above the hairline on most people. What you are calling the occipital bone is actually the posterior region of the parietal bone. The ridge/bump that you feel at the top of the nape is called the "occiput" (pronounced: ox-e-put). 😊
