Wow, you have a Purple Battalion of Generals. I think where I go wrong as a F2P guy is that I tend to overlook these Generals for the Epic Historics. Oh I want this General for this and that, but I never seem to get there anyway. But isn't that the case though for most of us? We don't seem to capture any of the potential of our Generals?
To have zero wounded you need the following Siege requirements. T-12: 300,000 T-11 : 120,000 I like to go a little over with that amount to be safe. Your siege buff should be 330 Higher Siege requirements. T-13: 300,000 T-12: 30,000 T-11 : 120,000
For lucky stones the best value is always doing 10 at a time - the first two give 5% and the rest give 10% for a total of 90%, so you maximize the proportion of stones giving 10% by using 10 at a time.
I have a report from undead where I reined with a ground gen including a speed book. Wasn’t trying to test anything, but my ground troops got kills and wounds while the same tier ground troops of the host city had no engagement in the battle. The keep I was reining did not have a ground speedbook. Happy to share the report in game.
@@Jedi-Temple it’s video that shows monster speed books increase speed more than march speed books to a destination. Derrick said the ranged and siege bonus books values are less than projected.
The battle isn't lasting long enough for your range to do anything. I have reports from as of my archers killing 5-10m per upper tier layer against a archer rally
@@flushing_queens4827 makes sense. But remember, if you kill troops; as goofy as it sounds, the dead troops get to fight back before they are dead and gone.
@@Jedi-Temple Are you talking about counter kills? That's only if the troops are within range of each other and the layer isn't completely dead. That's why lower tier siege is so bad, they're never in range to get counter kills on anything so they just die
@Jedi-Temple I'm hearing chatter that the level 4 debuff books aren't replacing other level 4 debuff books but (I think) that the level 1s do. Sample size is super small but I can see evony maybe making that change silently so as to appease some of the space whales (without admitting it, though, so people still waste level 1 books to get them on). I'm waiting for more people to chime in as folks hit 2k chits for the morae's machine event and buy them there. Also I don't know if you mentioned this or not, but breaking down a level 1 gives 1 debuff skillbook page, level 2 2 pages, etc, just like regular skillbooks so you can recompose those pages into level 4s. So if you open 10 chests you should get roughly 5 level 4 books if you break down and remake all the level 1-3s.
Brock is a good assist. You can refine for siege but having a Covenent with def/hp buffs is important. QB is a good option for plenty of styles of keeps not just traps. RL isn’t a terrible option but as you put on some size you’ll want to replace him. Probably around the 10b mark
I use Queen Boudica and Mu Guiying currently. I have 6M T14 Cavalry, and I do not ghost them unless the attacker has T15 ranged and buffs close to 3K. But I'm still going to switch to Richard the Lionheart because I want those siege defense and HP buffs.

5:42 I think his comment about the Covenent being active while green is related to the actual buffs turning green while enough total cultivation achieved
In those reports towards the end, at least in the ones you showed, you had your ground in one which lost a lot, and in the next report the power trade was better (even without as much rein) because your ground was dead
@@Jedi-Temple leo 3, dewey, bodica william marshal, isaac brock, takanaka leonidas are used and very good... but you have to choose a general, to whom you can give ten stars. i don't spend a lot of money so i use bodica but if you can spend more for example leo 3 or dewey are better
I think you’re getting smoked by siege because you just don’t have enough siege. Ive seen people with lower siege buffs take 3k+ hits and comfortably win it because they’re built properly. Your buffs are not the problem. You’re just buffing troops you don’t have at the moment. Odd choice.
Get siege buffs before siege or big players like OsmoQueed and Kurg will take every siege machine you have. Defenses won aren't always a good report if all of your siege is gone.
Those covenants on Godfrey would work when you’re reinforcing your team mates. Not in buildings and portals but it will work when you reinforce your teammate.
