Hello everyone! This channel showcases my trips to train stations throughout New England and across the Northeastern United States. I hope you all enjoy! (Formally the alex wood channel) IG: new_england_railphotos Camera: Panasonic Lumix GH5
6:31 super rare to see Acela with wig wag ditch lights on! An engineer one time told me Amtrak instructs them to leave them on steady burn so very cool to see!
One of the only places you’ll see high level only equipment (the Acela) running along side low level only equipment (VRE gallery cars, and Amtrak superliners)
I don't think that what you have labeled as an empty oil train is actually that. I don't see any Hazmat placards as required (empty or full) by the US Dot and FRA. BTW, nice catches and welcome to Minnesota.
Kinda disconcerting to think of tracks that were PAN AM managed carrying nuclear waste, not to mention that those bogies look rusty as hell, but what a catch to see it in action!
