I am a mobile hairdresser in rural France. I'm finding that people have less money to spend, and a few have gone from 6 weekly appointments to 8 or 10 weeks. My work is not as adventurous as yours, highlights, tints and cuts. I think as women, we put huge pressure on ourselves to work all the time. My husband and I are both self-employed. I have always felt guilty if he's working and I have no clients that day. It has never bothered him. We are lucky that we own our house outright, don't have kids and have no debts - it definitely takes the pressure off. Since covid, we took the decision to cut back on work, and spend more time together and doing the things we like, even if that is just taking our music speakers down the garden in the evening, with a few cocktails! I will be forever grateful for you!! 2024 has been different. I offer clients that are overdue to become models and give them discounts. To help them meet their budget once a year. ..I've been focusing on creating hair that lasts 6 months with a repigment session to keep longevity that way they can have a less expensive appointment between expensive ones? I dunno, I feel like I found a cool placement and half of my placement, I learned from you.

Hi, I am attempting this tomorrow on a lady for her birthday. How did you get that darker look? I understand how to do the fashion colors but my clients hair is a lighter brown, but wants that dark oil spill look. How do I go about putting in the 1-2N in her hair without having it bleed onto the bleach?
Hey sorry it’s been a few days, hope everything worked out ok 👌 I would do the foils first with a low peroxide to allow more time for processing. Then apply a 2.0 Inbetween. It will look nearly black , but you won’t get nearly as much colour bleeding, and make sure you rinse with cool water. 💕 Fortunately for me my client already had a dark base so I didn’t need to colour it in addition, It just looked slightly darker after I put the vivid on it,

Sometimes I’ll go through 4/5 bowls 😮💨 but it’s good to keep it fresh. I will generally bump up my peroxide towards the end to help even out processing time💕

I was wondering if there is any other product similar to an equalizer that you will get on a drugstore... Would a hair mask do the work?

I think the whole hair world needs to acknowledge the leap in color techniques that you are a huge part of. Like seriously thank you for who you are and how you share yourself with the world. So incredibly helpful! ❤❤ I have a large "farmhouse sink" in my kitchen, and a sprayer already built into the sink (next to the faucet), so I'm hoping that will work.
