I lived in Korea as an American. I too experienced many stereotypical comments and questions. I believe this was mostly due to media but also a large military presence. Racial ignorance can be found everywhere but we must tell the truth as this young Indian woman has. 😊
That's not caste that's actually "sects". Like people having different opinion about something in Islam, so they divided themselves into sects according to their opinion or judgement. Like some people only pray farz prayer instead of praying the whole thing because they think it's enough. So there is no caste system in here since they're going with their judgement. But yeah , (most) children born into a family which follows a particular sect follows in their parents footsteps. But as they grow up they also change as their views and understanding changes. Also this is the rason why parents want their children to marry into a particular family , it's because of the similarities. And they don't in some because of their opinions (about the religion) diffentiate.
Many people think that Indian people haven't hygien but, iam from kerala , please visit our country and our Kerala also and then tell true opinion about our nation , don't make cheap publicity for false news spread to Korean people and one think tell to korena peoples it have so many India vlogs have , Indian please also made natural videos, check it up not believes if one or more places have unhygien places Indian but whole place not like that please didn't think that we are unhygien
Bro, i'm sorry to say this but South Koreans need to get their head out of their ass. The world has changed so much but they are still standing where they were years ago, In terms of mentality. It baffles me just how full of shit some of them can be, specially to people with darker skin. Sheesh.
Thankyou so much the way you spoke about Indian and the world media are really important , They should show real things about India. This stereotype mentality is not our (India's) problem its their problem who don't have no / proper knowledge and keep telling sh*t . Change your mindset and also go get some updated info about India.
Now made up my mind of looking for an oppa LOL! I thiught they are very affectionate as seen on tv or kdramas lol… haysss… but maybe not everyone (justifying😂). Still want me an oppa. I have to learn korean first though.
The caste system was based on work or duty one performs for example if a person is very knowledgeable and spread the knowledge to others then he/ she would be considered Brahmin or if a person likes to fight to protect the region or country then he/ she would be considered khastriya ..and a person can move between castes like if a teacher wants to be a soldier ( moving from bhramin to khastriya), it wasn't rigid.....but over centuries people manipulated it to get benefit from others or to prove their supremacy over others.....and if ask me what's my caste , i come from the lowest caste according to people made caste system....but to be honest i never faced any discrimination based on that in india....caste system is still a problem in some places and some people still follow it but their number is very little.... according to what i have seen or observed I would say that intercaste marriage is still a problem in india.....
Dont stay online too much, you will never feel pressured. And dont compare.i live actually i chose to live in rural area in korea bec i dont like pressure. So yeah no pressure, nò comparison. No praising on peiple i dont know like kpop idols but i respect them.
LOL “Khushboo Shafi” putting it on Hindus for caste,, then WHAT ABOUT #SHIA & #Sunni’s??among muslims,,,,they say they don’t have caste well nobody has caste system,,its just that caste is a western implementation for colonisation. If you’ve met real Hindus they don’t take casteism seriously in modern societies.

wow had no idea about this. Glad to know though. I knew on some level Koreans will be superficial as they white wash their celebrities and all those surgeries to look “perfect” But damnnn they do know India is larger, developing, becoming more progressive, economically advanced and one of the largest consumer market. And we are beautiful people as well with diverse features! This makes me wonder what do these K-pop artist/idols really think of their indian/colored fans.
Muslims have caste in india 😂she didn't want to show ,then tell me who are pasmanda Muslim 😂.She just tried to save his religion like his prophet marrying a child 😂
Not everyone takes a shower in the morning but before they go to bed...not everyone as time and nerve for that in the morning. I take a bath everyday instead of showering even. I wanna be completely imeresed in water. I dont got to bed dirty.
Koreans are racist... They got brain washed by the western media in thinking white skin is beautiful... Very racist country.... You can have your views on racism in your own country... But just don't bring it to the west... Other wise it won't be a happy ending for you.. 😮

This racism is often done by old people or sk men if young. It is really prevailing, koreans don't hesitate to talk down of blacks, southeast asians, chinese, etc. I'm still surprised that foreigners didn't know koreans are misogynyist and racist all in one. They truly are. Well I'm a Korean, I've seen things so many times to the extent I'm not even paying attention to those discriminative behaviors unless someone mention it.
