Eric una pregunta… im asking cause i see the drip edge done so many different ways. I see here your drip edge is installed over the shearing/decking, before the paper? Cuál es la manera correcta brother? Drip edge to sheathing? Then paper? Or underpayment, then drip edge?
We used to load tiles in Colorado Colorado 1012 with five guys and we blast it out these guys are tossing one tiles at a Time come on now 150 squares in a day 5 or 6 guys with a portable conveyor
You ain’t installing it right bud. Follow manufacturer’s instructions and use a chalk line when doing it. I’ve had ridge vent for three years and not a drop of water in my shed.
People saying you can't paint roofs cause they need to breathe... If water is getting under your shingles so that your roof needs to breathe, your roof has failed or was installed poorly. Roofs don't need to breathe. Even if they did, paint wouldn't seal it so well that it would stop it "breathing"
I have common sense so i would have blown off my sawdust without all the "professionals" in the comments anyway. When you are working and teaching at once its easier for a mistake to slip to and be caught by the haters behind keyboards. This video was the closest to the content I was looking for so thanks for taking the time to share Eric! If anybody wants to talk shit, provide a useful link to your channel on the better way to do it first. But then you would pretty much copy their video and add the useless information wasting my time teaching me to clean after myself using a blower..
I would like to know how you put that 1.2 on the outer fascia board. I see it laying on the driveway but, you didnt show how you connected it to the main 1x8 fascia.
Great info. I have a house that had 5 rafter tails broken off from a tree falling during a tornado. Just had the whole roof and metal trim installed last year. I'm going to open the ceiling inside on this one to avoid having to tear off that new roof and install new tails. Hopefully can keep the repairs up top to a minimum. Your instructions are clear.
