343's subpar performance on Halo isn't a lack of passion, per se. Bungie and 343 split so that people who WERE passionate could stay working on Halo, and people who wanted to work on more things went with Bungie.
this video is probably the best guide to playing ascension out there. obviously it's very long but this is the only video i've found that comprehensively explains all parts of ascension wow even if you've never played wow or ascension. if you want to give ascension an honest try definitely watch the first hour or two and feel free to then skip around to parts that interest you (timestamps in comments). you won't find a more comprehensive guide on youtube i guarantee you the 10-30 mins ascension youtube guides will not give you enough info beyond leveling 1-60. also your editing skills are incredible and it makes it very easy to understand the tons of loot drops, gold, AH, skill cards, talent cards, and when to just vendor items which is incredibly overwhelming on ascension. 10/10 edit: good to see a mcdoubles shoutout also ascension needs more content creators like you guys.
well some ppl sell the pet for dungeon quest for gold so if you get to lvl 60 farm some manastorm and you should be able to buy it pretty easily. manastorm trick improved : get 4po orgrimmar hearstone from the AH xD (stone of retreat orgrimmar or something like that) ps : if you are a healer manastorm solo might be hard but dps and tank can do some lvl solo :) ps2: you got 5 combat rez meaning like 5 rebirth :D ps2: make a maccro with /run DEBUG_WC_ROULETTE_DURATION=0 and thanks me later :P also you get 3 mystic extract from prestige cache
You talk about ascension as if it was a small dev circle, but they're really not, they live in a legal loophole and make millions every season, and if they look like a small team, it's because they outsource a lot. Ascension is getting pretty greedy with their shop too; for example you can only get your cosmetic between seasons by buying an item from the shop, which is "by chance" in a bundle that uses an invented value. It's quite well known in the private server dev space that ascension also buys a LOT of project and put them in the dirt, often implenting mechanics present in their moneymakers realm, adding the callboard to COA for example, a very cool project that was bought years ago by ascension, and that is basically custom classes, totally unbalanced, that get changed to an unrecognizable status every damn week. to continue on this, ascension recently bought a spanish team called vendetta wow, to profit from their latest project, Sargeras Embrace, feel free to check what it was about, it's available on youtube. They may have a popular server with cool concepts, but most of it's playerbase knows ascension only because it's popular and it's the only private server they know about. Just hope one day someone does real research on their shady business practices and shows what a shitshow dutch and co are. I know i don't give a lot of proof, but i don't need to, the 'non profit' server that works only from donation is making ads for facebook and youtube to show that they too can be a multi million dollars corporation that blindside their users.
FYI, D2 resurrected has been adding new content, they've added new runewords, items, charms, etc. They've added random "hot zones" where the mobs are your level +2 and the areas are rotated every hour (available in single player too).. so if you're 90 then the mobs are 92. The charms reduce enemy resistances to break enemy immunities making a lot more builds viable.. and the entire reskin was extremely well done..
The Dumud's island is an alternate spawn area, for servers to not mass people at the southeast spawn. There are a couple of these scattered around the map.
if you think ascension is making it our of pure pation then your 10000% wrong... ive playd the game sance 2016 and they do not lissen to the comunity anymore, 100% just for the money
I tried playing this and he makes it look so ez , I’ve been struggling so much. Maybe I’m bad but I’ve gotten unlucky rolls and can’t even clear MS 1 solo at level 40 I’m going to play till prestige and try again
I quit Ascension a few years ago because I used so much time making a great build, worked on items, worked on learning all spells and ids so that I knew the interactions. I told the devs about what I did, what worked and explained how this role (who did not damage) was a full support build in raids and how it helped raids zoom through bosses. The reaction? They "fixed issues" and made the build totally useless.
Ascension is 100000times better then classic, ppl that say " private server is gay" have never tried ascension! So mich funnier, I tried retail/classic, its so boring
Love project ascension. Way more fun then normal wow. The point you made at 2:34 about lack of passion isnt just in wow alot of big studios have this issue. An old dev was talking about it how now these younger devs just show up do what they are told and dont question anything. And getting them to have an orriginal thought is like pulling nails by hand. And a step further getting them to fight for a design choice at all is nearly impossible. The second i get completly the world of game devs in terms of employment can be so unstable you dont wannaa risk fetting on someones bad side. Used to be able to get into a heated argument walk away couple days later everything is fine but in todays world that argument could just get you canned before any cool down period.
