None of his songs glorify God. His concerts promote darkness. What does he do to make him a Christian? His songs and actions are not what his words say. Read his songs. Look how he acts on stage. Does this illuminate God?
The first Alice Cooper song I heard was Nothing’s Free on a compilation album. I thought Alice Cooper was a woman based on the name. The album also had a Stryper song from the 80’s and I thought they sounded like women

Well, so much for “avoid even the appearance of evil”. Where’s the change ? He still sings I love the dead, and billion $ babies. Sounds like cheap fire insurance to me, the big problem is he’s likely to hear the words, depart from me, I never knew you. I’ve listened to his radio show. I’ve seen his live act in recent years. I’ve seen a photo session of him flirting with a woman who is not his wife. He may try to pretend Alice is a Schlick, and no different than a guy playing a villain in a Shakespeare play, but he is still promoting evil, whether he admits it to himself or not. I hope he is saved, but it don’t look to me like he is storing up treasures in heaven. If he arrives in heaven, it will be as one escaping the flames. All rewards burned up like wood hay and stubble. That is a best case scenario, IMO.
Why should he have to quit his job? Would a plumber have to stop being a plumber if he got saved? You never saw him flirting with another woman because he doesn't do that. He is faithful to his wife of over forty years.
This isn't a surprise to me, Alice Cooper's musical persona and stage performances are an act, has nothing to do with the real him. Aside from his music career, he holds a bachelors degree, acts in films, and teaches Bible classes at his church. He's a bright person and I like a lot of his music, especially his duet with Guns N' Roses, The Garden. I haven't seen this video yet, but I will later tonight when I'm off from work.
No he is not. A Christian doesn't curse using the F word (which he recently did while being interviewed in the Ron Wood Show), and does not what he still likes to do as he always has done. A real Christian fears God and repents - is born again by the grace of God through Jesus Christ, and THAT change must be noticeable in behavior, words, mentioning the Gospel of Jesus, mentioning Jesus and praising Him wherever he go's. He is not there yet. God bless Alice that he may find true faith.

And yes, if the person asking the questions asks about the weather, work, every day life, you naturally talk about that too. But in this interview Alice is specifically asked about him being a Christian. Well, when you say you are a Christian...shouldn't you mention the God that you worship - Jesus Christ - at least one time? Just once?

When asked to comment on the gospel, ie what is it to him; he rambled on about Jonah and the genesis account. He never mentioned Jesus nor the gospel that Paul enumerates succinctly in I Corinthians 15: 1-4 “christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that he was buried and rose again the 3rd day according to the scriptures.”

An idea that continues to this day in spite of his alleged profession of faith in the gospel. - which he couldn’t (or wouldn’t) articulate in this interview. God doesn’t have a warm spot for the ultimate villain, ie Satan. His days are numbered. Alice claims that his songs are full of Christian themes, ie “good” vs “evil” and typically the message is pick “good”. Shall we review the lyrics to his songs? I suspect that his claims don’t hold up or the message is not very clear in most of his “post conversion” songs. People are sheep. They either follow the clear teachings of Christ or they’re lead away following the murky teachings of others. Eric Clapton had lasting problems with drug addictions which he finally conquered. He wrote and sang about this in his song “cocaine”. People turned this into an anthem for cocaine use; the opposite of its intended purpose. How much more will the blind follow an “ultimate villain” especially if the lyrics are murky and do not clearly delineate “good” vs “evil”? I’m not opposed to the rock genre and every song doesn’t need to have the lyrics of a baptist hymn but the message or story encapsulated in the music needs to be clear. Music by itself is powerful. It reinforces whatever message it carries. This is why music has long been part of worship despite the genre or type. Lastly, it does not take much of an honest reading of Christ’s teaching to know that he had much to say about hypocrisy. Christ expected a clear delineation between “good” vs “evil” and the apostle Paul taught that believers should avoid evil in all its forms. It seems to me that Alice wants the best of both worlds: an assurance of afterlife and the lucrative benefits of being a rock star. Alice needs to get off the fence.

The Greek for acting is “hypocrite” our modern definition does not hold it in a good light. I’m concerned for 2 reasons: his “acting” portrays a false (dangerous) path for those that are in the dark. Does he want to be responsible for those people? James 3:1 “Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.” We are all teachers by our example. Alice has a large classroom from his stage. Does he really want to be accountable for potentially misleading those that are in the dark? I believe God can save everyone, but with celebrities being Christians, it's very difficult because being a Christian means a change of heart. And most celebrities are involved in the illuminati and really do worship the devil even if they don't realize it. Its not that I don't agree with some things he said in this interview, but Hollywood is a hard place to be a Christian in. So if alice really wants to be a Christian then that's a great thing, but being involved in the music industry and singing his rock songs might not be the best way to go.

I was very young once also. As far back as I remember I liked Vince's stuff. I think his original band was the best. Vince is a christian. Vince also sponsors a school for wayward kids. But Vince also brags about it. Look at me! Look at me! No. Look to Jesus Christ and give thanks to what you have and are able to share with others. Don't boast about it. I thot of this rabid interview recently again after watching it first eight years ago. The blatant condescension directed at refined, gentlemanly Franklin Graham is preposterous! It’s as if he’s being attacked by ravenous vultures! How he keeps his cool while they drip venom is remarkable and exemplary!

In judgement day we are all judged on everything we do and say.. But if your a true born again Christian you have nothing to worry about cuz, Jesus forgave our sins. Out sins are covered by the blood of Jesus. Amen. Your can be too. It's a free gift from God(Jeaus) All you have to do is accept Jesus, as your Lord and Savior. By admitting your a sinner, and ask him to forgive You of your sins. The Holy Spirit, which is the spirit of truth, will reside in You.. And you must turn away from sin. And live your life for Jesus.. If you fall, repent and get back up. Nobody is perfect, only God(Jesus). Then anyone that does not become saved or born again will spend eternity in hell. A lot of people are going there. And only some are going to heaven.. Says in the bible. Read: (Matthew 7:13 & 14) 7:13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 7:14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it... Cooper is an amazing man. Most Christians never discuss Christ at their work. This man lives for Christ well and speaks plainly without flinching about Christ and His Word and does this in an industry that hates Jesus. He is an example for all of us. He does this and is successful. God has blessed Coopers fidelity. The Christian’s task in this World is to take dominion over it. Christ was given the nations, Psalm 2. Christ ordered us to disciple the nations. We pray in the Lord’s Prayer that Earth will one day image heaven. In all of this, we as God’s people are to be dominating every industry including the arts and including performing arts. Cooper has absolutely nothing to gain from an interview like this. It is quite obvious this man loves God and is stable in all his ways. He is incredibly confident. He is clear in his language. He understands what he believes. His language matches someone who studies and is grounded in God’s Word.
