Couldn't agree more about the second half being worst. That was the most disappointing aspect of it for sure. The passing was equally sloppy in the final third of the game as it was in the opening third. Szobo, Trent and Salah in particular really surprised me with how off their game they were. Also felt like the team was forcing the issue far too much and far too early against a low block setup, which sort of played into their hands imo. Bit of a reality check, but we move.
At least I know that we ain't winning the league now instead of March. If we was playing even a Sunday league game and many of our team mates was putting such a poor performance they would be getting a right bollocking from other players, players when underperforming need the "hair dryer" treatment from team mates and manager, so they get thier act together, but out players are all too nice nice, Virg should never be captain, he is way too nice on the pitch he should be grabbing the underperforming players by the scruff of the neck and giving them a good shake, but as they are all so nice, nice with one another to maintain the "Hippy atmosphere" between themselves such performances are no surprise, when i played i was absolutely ruthless in letting other team mates know when they was playing poorly, when you play poorly its your mind that has gone and good old bollocking is what is needed for the player/s to reprogram thier mindset to one that will make them snap out of the poor mindset they have got themselves into.
