What we keep on forgetting time and again this season is that we went for the QUAD last year. We went to the absolute limit and actually have been doing so for 4/5 seasons now. Add to that losing Sadio and an aged less speedy mid-field, there was bound to be a lull period. I just don't think its humanly possible to have avoided it after last season. Nevermind the injuries and new fellas. Klopp and the lads deserve some leeway this season I feel... staying in the CL spots would be ideal, it just feels like we needed a recharge 1st quarter in a way. That said, Klopp knows this but will try his best to give us something to cheer about 100%. At the same time I get a feeling that Arsenal and Chelsea will begin getting unstuck... oppo teams have seen what they've needed by now and will start more low blocks and begin taking draws as first prize against them which will stall their current runs. To do the Klopp/Pep runs you need something that Teta and Potts just don't have yet I'm afraid. Our time to storm back is coming...Mo is angry... Sadio used to also bring that rage from the left....but we need them ALL to be angry because that's what made us killers on the pitch all these past seasons. Casual Friday is over, now we're down to business!

Just watched this Podcast. FFS Stop skating round the answer. Here's the words. "Let it flow" BS referee adhoc theory. Who makes that rule , the ref on the day or the FA.? 1. How can you have different referee rules for different games? 2. This was an idea muted by the referees agreed by the FA to play more advantage if players were diving or feigning injury with minimum contact. This was a tactic used by many teams at Anfield to stop our flow. Everton and Spurs for example. 3. This rule does not get applied consistently across the officials in the Premiership. 4. So it was interesting on the day the Man Referee said he would apply this rule today. Interesting because Liverpool's was at risk today of open play because of City's strengths and our weakness's and poor form in defence and midfield. 5. So the Ref dangerous fouls go with no advantage. Example consistent fouls on Salah by Rodri and Silver. No bookings putting Salah at risk of injury. Eventually the fouls get worse, the ref is losing control. 6. So here is the answer to Peps , "THIS IS ANFIELD" Inferring favouritism to Liverpool. He complains "We agreed to let the game flow hmmmm untill we score. Our goal is disallowed because of a 50/50 challenge between Fabino and Haaland." So here is the answer to his crying BS bias. 1. If a goal is scored via a foul, VAR check is carried out. The ref looked at a different angle, it was clear it wasn't a 50/50 challenge it was a clear foul by Haaland. Through that advantage City scored. Decision no goal. You could also say Haaland kicking the ball out of Alisons hands was dangerous play and a foul. Other City biased punters argue. The ref waived play on when Salah was rugby tackled by Silver. It was the same for the shirt pull on Fabino. Here's the answer to that one. If Man City scored from that play on advantage. VAR would have intervened and the goal would have been dissalowed and Silver booked. C'MON LADS GET THE RIGHT MESSAGE ACROSS.!!!!
